I walked in and asked for gel nails - the staff were friendly and helpful. The nail artist was very careful and thorough, and even after the three weeks the gel is still intact! It’s important to note that the salon only takes cash - luckily the nearby post office is available to make a withdrawal!

I recently moved back to the area where I’ve lived for over 25 years and decided to visit this family-run nail salon to have my acrylics removed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were so kind and welcoming, creating such a friendly atmosphere. The removal process, which can often leave your nails feeling sore and damaged, was handled with amazing care and precision. My nails felt perfectly fine afterward, which is a testament to their skill and attention to detail. I noticed many regular clients during my visit, which speaks volumes about the quality of service they provide. The owner’s son even took the time to chat with me, making the experience feel personal and reassuring me that my nails were in the best hands. If you’re looking for a salon that values excellent service and truly cares about the health of your nails, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be returning!

It as awful, would not recommend at all. Finger was cut, she was on WhatsApp the entire time and they were extremely rude.

I had a great experience visiting Fantastic nails. I had been a bit put off by some of the reviews but my neighbour recommended them for a manicure - because hers lasted a lot longer than her friends’ (who had it done at the same time somewhere else). I saw nothing like what the negative reviews say. Everyone was very nice. I had a great chat with the guy who did my manicure. I was pleasantly surprised that each customer gets their own file/buffer block/etc as an extra hygiene measure. I was given good advice on what to get in terms of colour and decoration and the guy really knew his stuff. I haven’t seen how long the manicure lasts yet but I would recommend Fantastic Nails.

I just had my nails done with them today. I love the outcome of the nails however it took a lot of time and also the lady who did my nails was a bit rough and not so gentle doing it, she was a bit rushed and busy with her phone lol. Anyway she did a great job still!

I have used this business regularly based on how much I would but ad hoc comparatively for about 7 years until early this year. I have waiting to leave this review as I was very upset by our experience at the time and needed to let the initial shock and anger pass. I recommended Fantastic Nails to my sister when she started having her nails painted professionally. She came back after her first appointment there by herself (we had been in together one before) with a deep cut, almost a gash on her finger and quite upset, I said it’s not a problem, are you okay? And then - did you pay them? Did they charge you? She told me she had and they had and I thought that’s odd, and went in myself with her to ask for a refund and explain what had happened only days before. I genuinely did not think it would be a problem at all, in any capacity to have that money returned. The woman who had done her nails happened to be there and shouted (actually shouted) loudly and aggressively at me and my sister - reducing her to tears and leaving me utterly astonished, I could not believe the behaviour, I’m still shocked writing about it now, and eventually concluding after ten minutes of trying to explain very reasonably that was not a service that should have been charged for regardless of the nails being done, her hand was pretty badly cut (I was surprised when I saw it, it didn’t make any sense) - that they would remove the shellac and then refund half of the money, by which point my sister was so upset and rightly so, (I’ve never seen someone in a business speak to anyone that way, it was really appalling and alarming, the woman was seriously aggressive and very angry, very shouty. The owner also didn’t step it to just rectify the situation as you would think one would in that situation. It was pretty bizarre as an experience) we decided to leave, not wanting the same woman to then return back to my sisters hands after their behaviour. She had been so angry I would have been pretty worried and to be honest not let her anywhere near my sisters hands at that or any other point. The cut was still pretty fresh. I explained at the time, it’s okay in a way, although not really, mistakes do happen, her hand slipped harshly as she said, she slipped but having to pay for that service was wrong. In addition for a slip to cause that kind of cut she must have been applying a huge amount of pressure and moving very quickly which is worrying in itself. It’s a real shame because they used to be my go to in Morden (I actually didn’t realise there were any others) but we have since, again understandably found an alternative place to go. It was strange considering a couple of years previously I had an experience where the upper layer of my skin was ripped off with wax that had not been applied and removed properly at the same place and then they didn’t charge for that. I probably should not have gone back then but having not had any nail trouble with them over the years didn’t think it would be a problem to go for nail sittings and not use the waxing services again. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone now.

Please don't waste your money and time here. I was charged nearly £40 on an unimpressive set of acrylic nails. The woman was very rough on my nails and I even started bleeding which started to sting when she used the other products. I'm so upset and to be honest they weren't that patient with me when I was trying to explain what I wanted and when I had to choose a colour (which looks very different now to when it did in the shop). It looks like they have good relationships with their regulars and others seem to like their service so I didn't want to give up on them quickly however, this was my third time here and I will never go back.
