Lin gave me a pedicure today.. she is excellent at what she does. She is very friendly and done a brilliant job!! Shes so kind and made me feel very comfortable the entire time. Overall great experience and will come backs again Special shoutout to julie, hi and ben aswell.
the nail technician she was young and lovely very talented however when i first asked for the price the older man with glasses said it would be cost me only £65 - 20 for the removal of my set and 45 for the new set. After i got my nails done within an hour so very quick, another gentleman charged me £75 and I said “the other man said it would cost me £65” he responded with “it’s only £10 more”. I was in a hurry therefore didn’t have the time to argue. Despite the lovely lady who did my nails i’m sorry but never again due to the overcharging of customers - that’s why you can’t make money - the money you steal from people. Here are my nails for reference that costed me £75 with the removal of my past set.
So horrifying experience that i’m scared I had initially posted from another account about my ombré nails, which were poorly done—uneven with visible bumps. The “manager” later asked me to come back to fix them, and while he agreed to change the color and refund the difference for switching to a plain shade, things quickly escalated. I chose a new color (which they didn’t have), and then another shade that was slightly more expensive. Eventually, I asked for all the extensions to be removed and a full refund because the original work was simply not acceptable. At this point, the manager became furious, started yelling at me, and accused me of being fussy—even though I remained calm and respectful the entire time. As someone who deals with customers daily, I found his behavior completely unprofessional. He even told me he “doesn’t like me” and asked me to leave. I asked if someone else could fix my nails, especially because he was handling my hands roughly. He refused, saying he was the manager and wouldn’t let any of his staff assist me. It was a distressing experience. He argued with me for nearly 30 minutes, and I genuinely feared he might become physically aggressive. Even after the nails were redone, I noticed chipped areas and unfinished edges. I was too afraid to return because of how he previously treated me. This was truly a horrifying experience, and I feel it’s my responsibility to inform others. The customer service was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I got my nails done the second time. The first time it was a lady and she did the something different. This time as well i wanted ombre and i showed a reference picture. The guy ended up ruining my ombre nails. And he charged 10£ extra than the price mentioned for ombre. Very bad experience. Nails are uneven and shades and not even as well.
Visited here this afternoon - was told different prices for the pedicure - I had nail varnish rather than shellac was told the cost was £30 - went to pay was told £33 but will charge £30. I asked over and over is it throughly dry before I put my shoes on - the lady said yes all good to go. The lady was polite and friendly. Once home the evidence is clear the nails were not dry - I’m so annoyed as I asked over and over - I’m travelling on Thursday and now have to visit another salon to have re-done. Please make sure that you check and double check the cost beforehand as weirdly the prices appear to change. Not a happy customer.
It was a real shame because I was so excited for my treatment and the salon looked so lovely. Unfortunately, my technician was poorly and coughed all over me for the duration of both my manicure and pedicure. She was also very rough with my nails, to the point where she cut the skin in between the big toe nail and the side of my toe. It’s now swollen, sore and infected. She also cut my fingernails so short that the pink skin under my nails became exposed and has been sore for the past few days Plus I payed £60 pound for a gel pedicure an it look like I told my 5 years old to paint them I would not remember this place to anyone
The guy was far from approachable. I asked what services were on offer. He replied with, "There is no offer!" Perhaps the language barrier caused the confusion. But the tone that he used was off putting. I will not be going there EVER. Such a pity as thos place is a short walking distance from my home.
The worst. I asked for gel only, and the process was finished in less than 20 minutes, with only one layer of cheap gel that I could do it better at home. And I have done gel before in salon, it has lasted over 3-4 weeks, this didn't last even a week, and I got charged £25. Never have I heard simple gel to cost that much. I do Acrylics with £20 and they last for 6 weeks. Don't waste your money here!
I’ve been coming here for nearly 10years for my shellac nails and occasionally in the summer a normal pedi. I’ve tried other places but keep coming back because of the quality. They work incredibly hard and are always super busy, the attention to detail is always on point no matter who I’m with. Worth the wait or walk around the shops :)
