Although my partner and I started living here under YPP and faced issues including feeling pressured into renewing our tenancy without careful consideration, infatrade's takeover made things much better. there were a few teething issues at first which can be expected when starting fresh, but now any issues are resolved as soon as they possibly can be. A few months ago we had issues with homeless people breaking into the building & causing issues, but infatrade stepped up and fixed the problem immediately. Staff members did everything they could do to help, including travelling from a different city to sit in reception all night as unofficial security when the police wouldn't show up, hiring security, and setting up security measures such as making sure the lift and stairwell require fob access. My partner & I were wanting to move to a bigger flat as we had previously been pressured into staying in our previous one, but were worried we couldn't change anything mid contract. infatrade staff, especially Shreya, did everything possible to resolve this for us & now we are in the flat we wanted without having to pay ridiculous costs for breaking contracts. There have definitely been issues as there will be with every apartment block, but I cannot fault the actions taken to resolve them, and the speed at which they are resolved.

I lived in a studio at Apollo for a year and moved out in August. When I first moved in, the building was managed by YPP Lettings, and unfortunately, my experience with them wasn’t great. Many issues — from hot water and heating problems to maintenance requests — were left unresolved despite repeated complaints from residents. I also arrived to find my room in an unclean state, even though I had been told it would be professionally cleaned. However, once the new management company, Infatrade, took over, I noticed gradual improvements. They worked to fix ongoing maintenance and security issues, installing new FOB systems and hiring on-site security after previous break-ins, which made a real difference. I believe they’ve done their best to improve a building that was previously poorly managed. Special thanks to Shreya, the building manager, who’s always professional, kind, and quick to respond. Thanks to her efforts, my experience at Apollo improved significantly towards the end of my stay.

AVOID at all costs!!!! Me and my partner lived here from 2023- September this year and it was the absolute worst accommodation. Silverfish EVERYWHERE, fridge didn’t work properly so everything went off so fast, blinds that don’t even cover the windows so we had to hang bin bags from our ceiling to hide the light, homeless men sleeping in the hallways and leaving faeces and god knows what else all over the floors. Parcels being stolen, constant hot water issues, being charged £200 for utilities that we never used. Granted the new company who has taken over is better than YPP, but it’s still not an acceptable standard to live in at all. Please please avoid this place.

The worst renting experience I have had in my years in Sheffield. Completely agree with everything the previous reviews have said - hot water issues constantly, completely ignored throughout the whole year for maintenance issues with a window on an 8th floor apartment - a major health and safety risk during both heatwaves and winter storms. This was during BOTH ypp and the new infatrade ownership, the change of which we had absolutely no warning about. Constant hot water issues, silver fish infestations, drunken staff, break ins to the building by aggressive men living in the hallways, my own parcels being stolen, staff walking in to apartments unannounced, defecation (human faeces) in EVERY stairwell on EVERY floor, my partner being attacked on the front step, and bribery of good reviews just to name a few (any 5 star review obviously name dropping a member of staff has been bribed - this was one of their conditions to be eligible for a reward). The amount of times the police were called to this building is insane, and the new management did not care at all. In the end we had to leave a month early due to serious security breaches and health and safety issues - still being ignored in terms of compensation for our last months rent. AVOID AT ALL COSTS even (especially) with new ownership!!!! Almost 1k a month to live in conditions I find hard to believe aren’t illegal.

Since my last review mysteriously disappeared, just a quick note of warning to PLEASE not rent here. It was the most stressful tenancy of my life with constant fire alarms, leaks causing water damage that was never addressed, silverfish, and appliances breaking. On top of this, they will squeeze as much money out of you as possible, springing extra utility charges of hundreds of pounds upon you (without telling you there is only one meter for the whole building!), and you will NOT get your deposit back, even if you leave the apartment cleaner than when you arrived. Do not believe the 5-star reviews, as many are posted with the promise of 'pizza vouchers.' I am constantly grateful I do not live here anymore, and am not dealing with the stress of wet floorboards, 3am faulty fire alarms and random charges from an entirely incompetent company. The only redeeming quality were the reception staff, who were kind and genuinely tried their best to help.

I have moved out from this property from August, it is now October and I have not still received my deposit back. Not only that, they are charging me £300 for cleaning, although I have left the apartment cleaner than I first received it. Also, they are charging me for re-decoration and damages for things that were already present before and are listed in the check-in inventory. I still haven't got the deposit and they already have deducted more than £400 and giving me the worst excuses ever. In the emails, their sayings keep changing and apparently they do not seem to care about it at all. I'm truly unsatisfied with this situation and all of this got me really disappointed with this property. They are robbing my money, so watch out for yours and do not get fooled. If you are staying there, I would suggest you take a picture of everything as evidence because theses people will take every chance they got to take money from your deposit.

I love Apollo, great place & friendly Receptionist The problem is they are kept raising the prices Also if you want to renew your contract and you don't have a guarantor You will have to pay 3 months for the new contract even if you have to pay the 3 months for your current contract (at the same time!

My experience with Apollo Residence was amazing, everything was great, the staff were very helpful especially Jessica Smart, she is very supportive and welcoming, she is really a great person helped me a lot in many issues, I highly recommend Apollo Residence for everyone. The only thing that I didn’t like during my stay in Apollo Residence is the noise which comes from outside the building from I think a night club nearby, but this has nothing to do with Apollo Residence. Last but not least, the location is the best as it is in the heart of Sheffield city, near to all facilities ( train station, restaurants, supermarkets, cinemas, etc),

Called out maintenance yesterday to fix an issue with my flat. Gary arrived today and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Displayed excellent customer service and was both polite/courteous. Jess and Travis alongside Cheryl from the Leeds office have also been incredibly helpful throughout the entirety of our tenancy. This building is a great option for anybody looking for a city centre apartment.
