   Bakery is so good, affordable and top quality, however sometimes in the morning self check-out machine just accepts cards only “temporary” and then the next day I find it working. Overall, a good place to shop in.

   I lost my cardholder in the car park here, my fault of course. However, I received a message from a customer who picked it up and handed it back into a member of staff here. When I went to pick it up the next day, it was not there. I then noticed that my card had 2x transactions at an off license which I did not make. When I messaged the customer back to ask who they handed it into, they perfectly described the member of staff who served me… This member of staff took it upon himself to steal my card and make fraudulent transactions with it. Even if I get this money back, I will still have to buy a new ID which is ridiculous considering it was found and handed back into a shop - which you would expect to act with respect. I have emailed customer service about the matter too. *edit* Yes, I did email the slightly different email address offered below, and got exactly the same response, which is… nothing. Lidl does not care that a member of staff has stole from a customer… baffling.

   Tall security guard make that was on around 7pm Thursday 13th November to busy staring at women an girls in shorts etc alarm went off a good few times because he was to busy looking at women shouldn’t be aloud very unprofessional should be looked into not just me that notices his staring he should be looking for shop lifters not women who are catching his eye

   i like this store as its so big but i give it a 2 because tonight when i went out the corner of my eye i could see the security guard standing by the self service till watching me scan each and every item. really not good.

   I guess it's not a bad shop really, the freezers are a bit of an array, the food is a little some what disorganised and the price stickers don't represent the price the food is under. So I spend quite some time trying to find the price of certain foods. And some of the food on the shelves was out of date yet still being displayed. Don't think I will visit again I only shopped there because my insurance gave me a 20.00 vocher and I had to use it lol.

   Shopping at this store was a pleasant experience. Ample parking, fresh items in the bakery, well stocked shelves, competitive prices . . What else could you ask for? The inflation has gradually pushed the prices up and this is noticeable on a weekly basis. Staffing has become rather thin, leaving big gaps in filling sgelves and tills have been largely replaced by self check out machines. Yet prices have continued to soar. One example, a pizza went up by more than 40%!

   You always find almost everything you need here, but my favourite part by far is the bakery! They bake everything fresh daily, with a huge variety of items, from sweet to savoury - donuts, croissant, pain au chocolat, cheese twists, flatbreads, several types of breads - everything very tasty and by far the lowest prices for these items in supermarkets. You won't find top brands here amongst every day items, however some random big brands do come up every now and again in the special items section.
