   Staff wouldn't let us in at 3.45pm on a Sunday saying they were closed. Staff and security spoke to me horribly. All I wanted to get was baby formula. Staff clearly just wanted to go home early and had no care for customers

   Homeless woman outside asked me for ket, she cleaned my entire car inside and out for half a gram - and did a really great job! On had to give her a fivers worth too. Will be back, thanks lidl!

   Usually lidl setup, o e of the larger sized Lidls I've been to. Set in a small shopping area with other shops close by. Car park is pretty big. I found it a nightmare pulling into the car park during busy times of the day . The entrance /exit is right on the main road which when busy queue s back across the entrance and exit making it difficult to drive in / exit. Once inside you are presented with the usual Lidl layout, middle Isles with random goods. The check out staff w seemed to be quite miserable and unfriendly compared to other sites I've been to. Security guard on the exit/entrance .

   I witnessed a customer being badly treated yesterday. Customer narrated an incident that led her out of queue, but the teller and 3 other colleagues did not help the situation, blaming and molesting the customer, threatening her. The staff at the till shouted at the top of his voice saying to the customer" don't you dare talk to me like that", other staffs that came up were speaking in solidarity with their colleague at the till, threatening the customer, except the one in suit that excused the customer aside and was speaking with her calmly. After I finished my purchase and on my way out, I moved closer out of concern and approached the female staff to handle the situation in a better way rather than blaming and shouting back at customer, the male customer at the till stood up and said to me" excuse me, I will raise my voice again if a customer dare talk to me like that". The female customer then told me to get out of her face, walked out on me, another said I should leave. I look at them sympathetically and said you are all the same.

   The self service till is not great, when we try use our own bag, it’s accepting to proceed further. We have to scan all items and complete the billing process, post that we have to move all shopping items into our bag. This is not useful, can you sort out the same. Thanks

   Apparently to unlock the "Expert Reviewer" badge on Google Maps, I need to write 50 "Helpful" reviews with more than 200 characters. So here is one of my helpful reviews: It's a Lidl. It has a bakery. There's the "Middle of Lidl" limited time, random stock in the middle aisles. It has self service machines. I would recommend using the Lidl Plus app if you shop at Lidl often for the extra discounts. I like having a digital receipt on the app. There is a car park. Next to Lidl there is a McDonald's. Across the road from Lidl, there is a Home Bargains. Also close by is an Iceland. If you did find this review helpful, please like this review. Thanks in advance.

   This lidl I have been coming to for years, and have had impeccable customer service, with good variety to choose from. However today, 1 lady that works there in particular was very rude and aggressive with where she puts her cart and slamming meats down. It was very uncomfortable and no form of adequate customer service at all. There is no need for rude behaviour of any soorts in 2023 and leave the bad energy behind.
