I had very negative experience at this branch, which made me decide not to visit this particular branch ever again.the older lady which I assume is the store manager named Lian was very unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately characters like her giving a bad reputation to brand.
Recently was gifted a Tissot watch for my birthday. But sadly the strap was too loose. Came into the shop and the two ladies on the counter were very engaging, helpful, and knowledgeable about Tissot. They gifted me a Tissot booklet as a birthday present, to go with my watch. The book was about the history of Tissot, and it was very thoughtful of them. Excellent customer service and with their recent sale prices, will be definitely back again!
Outstanding In-Store Experience – Thank You, Caroline and Emma! My daughter had seen a watch online that she really liked, but I wanted to see it in person before purchasing. We decided to visit Ernest Jones, and after trying the watch on in-store, we ended up buying it then and there—thanks to the outstanding service from Caroline and Emma. Not only were they incredibly helpful and friendly, but they also adjusted the bracelet perfectly on the spot—something you just can’t get when buying online. It was such a refreshing reminder of how valuable good old-fashioned over-the-counter service can be. Thank you again, Caroline and Emma. I visited the Manchester Arndale store on Saturday 12th July 2025 and spoke a gentleman to remove links from my watch. I was quoted a very reasonable price. When the work was completed I mentioned I was very pleased with their service from the day we purchased the watch 10 years earlier. Upon hearing this the gentleman didn't charge me at all and said it was part of their service which I was incredibly grateful for. I would highly recommend them to anyone as we also bought Platinum Diamond rings from them at the same time as the watch and they cleaned those for us free of charge some years ago.
I went to a different store to get my ring finger sized as my partner is planning on proposing, and there I felt like I'd been rushed out and badly sized. So I popped in here today to ask, and they assessed that I had been told I was a ring size too big. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and polite, and I really appreciate it. Thank you!
Bad service from the bold guy in the suit and the lady that was with him both miserable, no customer service . If you don't like working at your job then leave please!
Good sales, likely the cheapest. But they didn't want to order a unworn watch (that was not in the window that people always fit on). Would've given 5 stars
Horrible service from the guy who is behind the counter and the blonde hair females behind the jewelry counters. As I was told from the St Anne’s store of Ernest Jones that they only have the watch I want from the store in at Arndale, this is the second Ernest Jones I went to with my friends on that day. The guy who is working at the counter has no intention to greet, talk or to ask the customer to sit and select(which is exactly the opposite from the St Anne’s store, they are very nice n kind, offer to help), extremely dismissive, moreover the two females behind the jewelry counter have absolutely no interest to even acknowledge your existence, look away and even waiting for me to say hello or smth?? I do not understand who they would like to impress, but judging from the past comments and my experience, there has been multiple occasions that Asians being ignored and not treated properly at all, I am very disappointed and have zero tolerance for this sort of issues!
We went there for buying our wedding rings. The staff told us to wait outside so she can show us the wedding ring collection on the window. After browsing the window a couple of minutes we realised the she was serving another customer. We were the first, right? why she couldn't ask the customers to say "I'm serving another customer at the moment, my collogue will help you" or something like that? We came into the shop again and asked another staff for the help. She was not friendly and looks unhappy to show us the rings. As the result, we bought ours from H Samuel in front of this shop who gave us friendly and helpful services on the same day. Nothing rude, just disappointed.
Me and the wife was on our way out to visit the Xmas Markets in Manchester. Whilst walking around I decided to break off from the market and treat my wife to some jewellery. On beknown to the wife we headed to Ernest Jones in the Arndale Centre. When we arrived at the shop I said to the wife, whatever you fancy you can have for Xmas, that sparkle in her eyes said it all. A lovely assistant bye the name of Lyndsay kindly looked after the wife whilst I looked around. The shop in general was very tidy, jewellery cabinet's were lovely and clean. After the wife picked out a lovely ring I settled up at the till, the ring will be arriving in the store over the next few days. Once again Ernest Jones many thanks
