Disappointing Experience at Aspire Lounge (North), Birmingham Airport Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend the Aspire Lounge (North) at Birmingham Airport. Cons: - Very limited food options – not much variety available. - The lounge felt uncomfortably warm and stuffy. - Small space with an outdated feel that doesn’t justify the price. - Staff insisted on “checking for availability” even though there were clearly plenty of empty tables and seats. Pros: - Complimentary food and drinks, including alcoholic options. - Decent view of the planes from the windows. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. For the cost, I expected a more comfortable and modern environment with better food variety and service. I’d suggest considering other lounges or options at the airport instead.

Absolutely disgusting food here. Cold jacket potato with tinned chilli con carne. The most basic food ever. Complete rip off. Staff were not bothered at all. At least four or five people complained while we were there. Wouldn't recommend

Terrible! very poor selection of food, missing white wine in selection (at least that day I went), pancake maker not refiled until customers asked app. 3 times, missing promised toppings, when asked promised to be brought out of other lounges, never came without apology, staff leaning on surfaces, talking to each other having good times, also leaving dirty cleaning cloths lying around in customer area, no table cleaning.. Allowing people to come in not dressed according to dress code (smart casual) people in football dressed allowed..definitely not worth the visit, experience or money!!

They get 2 because of the humour otherwise it really drops. The food quality, dirty carpet, dirty plates… but there is the humour of staff. When I asked about shower at the lounge and they were in shock with my question that I had another member come and explain that they don’t usually have it in airports here. It was hilarious, it made me smile and the bar woman was magnificent.

This Aspire lounge sets the example of how good should be served. The food seems to be made with good care and is very tasty, I really enjoyed eating here! There where only few other visitors (not too busy on a Tuesday noon) and was surprised with the high amount of reserved seats, that didn't got taken during my 2+ hour stay. It's got a nice view and you can see the airplane and runways. It's not top of the bill but it's pretty good and I loved staying there! I wish the Amsterdam Aspire lounge would come over to visualize how good looks like :-)

Aspire lounge BHX. No toilets. You can serve yourself salad but not pasta, soft drinks and hot drinks but not alcohol. I was forcibly reminded that it's 1drink per time per person. I only wanted one drink thank you. They treat you like a child, and border on being rude. Hot food choice is poor, soup or pasta cold choice is also poor, salad and crakers. Very disappointing.

Dreadful dreadful dreadful. Booked this lounge for my family of 5. We got here at 8.30am and there was barely anything left to eat. No cutlery, hardly any soft drinks. When we asked the manager if more food was being prepared he seemed bothered and annoyed and said they had problems with their stock and that they were doing their best. According to the website the breakfast includes bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and mushrooms.... well only 3 sausages and a bit of beans and scrambled eggs were actually available. Staff are rude and genuinely seem not to care. Empty tables had still cups and plates from previous guests. We had to clear our own table. We have paid £145 for what exactly??? Dreadful experience and never again. I will complain and ask for a refund. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Lot of confusion when we tried to enter. I couldn't find my confirmation email and they said I wasn't on their system. We had to leave. Done a search on my email and found it. Surprise, surprise, they then found my booking under my name! The food, ambience, staff and calm were fantastic. Can't praise the place enough. Dropped a star due to the fact they couldn't find me on their sysrem

Shocking, do not book , waste of money ! We have used the lounge on numerous occasions previously and have throughly enjoyed the food, drink and ambience but oh how it has changed !! Food is appalling, full English was disgusting, cheap and poor quality, no toast either. Alcohol selection is pitiful (yes the picture is the bar in question), we all have better selections at home and a 3 drink limit (we left after 1) Save your money and go to the wetherspoons as a million times nicer !!!
