I wish I couldβve put 0 stars instead of 1 but here it is. Had to get only 20 breeze blocks, no queue and it took me an hour to get it done. Iβve been told there would be someone in the yard to help me lift the blocks as Iβve recently had an operation at the right arm making lifting objects really hard but also painful. They dropped the pallet with all broken blocks right in front of the van carelessly and even after Iβve politely asked to help me they couldnβt care less, so Iβve lifted every block with one hand. Absolute joke of a branch, embarrassing organisation

If you value time and honesty. Please stay well clear of this supplier. Employees lied, were rude and communication was 0/10. Using this supplier cost me time and money. The whole branch has a laid back attitude who doesnβt care about their customers or customer service.

Possibly could have given four stars but due to a couple minor issues thought three is good. This branch was open bank holiday Monday and coincidentally had a small breaker just returned so the guy got it tested and ready for us to hire. Reason for three stars is that the whole process took quite a while, I think his computer kept crashing so we were waiting for a long time; then certain card machines didn't work to pay for the hire and also he couldn't sign in when I wanted to separately buy a chisel. Then he said he had to provide instructions for a transformer but he was unable to provide or print them delaying things further (however we genuinely didn't need them). Fortunately there were almost no other people otherwise it could have been a very long wait. The office generally seemed fairly untidy, which I perhaps expect for a Builders' Merchants, but given the many (minor) failures, not the most professional. Returned the breaker the next morning at opening time of 7am only to find that only the one guy who was not in yet could accept my return (despite there being about 10 staff there). One finally helped and wrote a receipt to accept it and said I would be called to organise payment. I was never called and had questions about the cost of hire and a discount which the guy was not sure if it was applied on the original hire receipt. Would have thought he could have known when selling it to us. The deposit was refunded (less hire charge) a couple days later regardless.

Was terrible!!!! Yard was in a terrible state! They was out of stock of what I wanted BUT they did say I could drive little Hampton branch and collect it myself. Is hardwood decking that difficult? And I got a flat tyre while reversing out of the branch !!!
