   Working in Loughton, I've popped in here recently a number of times to pick up some supplies for a few home DIY projects that I've got on the go. My level of skill is competent but not professional! It's a great shop with helpful staff and competitive pricing. Johnstone's colour-mixing took just a few minutes. They stock an extensive range of brushes and ancillary supplies. I'm loving their Arrowworthy brushes! I'm no longer buying Purdy brushes. I got everything I needed and more.

   I used Masis for their UPS access point service and I had a great experience. The owner was very cordial and helpful in assisting me with printing the shipping label and explaining the necessary documentation that needed to go along with the package. Very knowledgeable and friendly service, would highly recommend them!

3. The rocksteady Dalston ★☆☆☆☆

   disgusted at the way I was treated after I asked for a refund after I was sold the wrong stain. The owner said " he did not want people like me in the shop" . I am from a mixed race background, so you can imagine how offended I felt. I was refused a refund .I suggested that he view the cctv footage which would clearly show the colour to which I pointed but he just refused. stay away from this place. I have been going there since I moved into the area 10 years plus ago and have never had an issue. The new owner is lacking product knowledge, customer service and all round human decensy.

   I recently redecorated a couple of bedrooms and got all the paint from Masis. The staff were very friendly and also very helpful (as were fellow customers!). I would definitely recommend them.
