   Unfortunately the people working in this store do not seem to care, or know much about, camping and the outdoors. I've had quite serious issues with two items bought from there now, one they fixed, so all good if annoying but the other they just didn't care and said to go to the manufacturer. I was also really hoping to get some advice on a few items I was comparing but the inexperienced employees do not seem to have that capacity. Without that personal touch it is easier and cheaper to buy camping equipment online.

   Got a new camping kitchen to go in our new tent as the old one had passed its best. Love this shop, its not the bargain it makes out to be but everything is under one roof so no messing around trying different places.

   Plenty of Free parking and Just off the A38 ( Tyburn Island ) with other shops nearby. Car park is nice and big so no issues if parking especially during the week. Nice large store that caters for all sports from hiking, fishing, cycling and horse riding and more. Huge tent selection upstairs gives you an idea of space needed for a tent and gives you an idea if a particular tent is suitable for your needs. Prices are reasonable if you have the £5 a year membership card. Some of he " original prices " Seem far fetched though. Look out for the sale rails where you can pick up bargains / reduced end of line stock. Decent size store allows for social distancing but it can get busy on weekends so this maybe an issue.

   Great store. Colossal choice. Fabulous, staff are friendly. I was well pleased, registered at till with discount card after selecting my items. Intending to purchase top spec goretex boots. However, such a varied choice, allowed me to take my time. Finally selecting Peter Storm PS M Arnside Vent. Good reviews and a great starter shoe trainer. Excellent weight. Compared to boots or other makes. With discount £50 were already discounted, £5 at the till. Top choice. Feel great, as wide fitting, yet don't look it. These are a starter walking shoe waterproof too. Fab splendid. Can start my exercise regime.....

   I really enjoy visiting this Go Outdoors as its part of a retail park, so you have Dunelm and The range right next door. It has a lovely range of kids clothing and adults and the shop is massive! They have great deals especially for those who have the Go outdoors membership card as you can save a lot of money. The quality of the clothes is fantastic and they last ages, especially the jackets and coats. They also sell hats and scarves perfect for winter. Upstairs there’s a huge section full of tents and camping gear which is always fun to look at even if you’re not going to buy any.
