“I visited Halfords, Selly Oak on Friday 21st November at around 3pm. I had travelled up to Birmingham the night before from Dorset (3.5 hours) with no heating in my car. After advice from my garage at home I went to Halfords to buy coolant as on checking, the tank was empty. I was helped firstly by a lovely gentleman on the customer service desk, who identified the correct coolant for my car and promptly went off to find it for me. He asked another member of staff to come and check that I was safely opening the tank and putting the coolant into the correct level. All this was done with kindness and thoughtfulness, no judgement and with just the right amount of humour to lighten a stressful day. Thank you to the two members of staff, I'm sorry I didn't get your names, but you really put a smile on my face and made the journey home much easier, especially as I now had heating!!.”

The member of staff I was served by Went out of his way to help me and I also saved a fiver on the item because I recently joined the halfords motoring club which was a bonus. Cannot speak highly enough of the member of staff who served me so excellent service. I would definitely recommend halfords Bordesley green branch. Birmingham. This brummie institution is a beautiful, bright spacious cafe that is finely tuned for the the road cyclist. If it's the start of your cycling adventure or you've got a thirst on after a heavy day in the saddle, get over here. The staff are lovely, the coffee is great, they even serve local ales. Just find a pew amongst the abundance of seats and rest your weary lycra.”

They helped me find the correct bulbs and Lawrence helped me to fit the bulb in my car too. The shop was an extremely pleasant and speedy transaction. The website was easy to use and I was able to arrange for a suitable time to have them fitted. “Just visited Halfords Bromsgrove for headlight and fit, I was given different options on bulbs and it was suggested that I have both replaced and then they were fitted quickly. The young man who did this was so helpful, professional and kind and took a genuine interest in my car, I trusted him. I have no one to help with my car. “Went in to the Redditch branch to look for a car seat. It was very busy at the time we went in and we went to queue to ask if anyone could help. There was a lovely man who was dealing with s another customer who overheard and said he would be able to help us in a moment. He came over and could not have been more helpful! He even tried the seat in our car and took time to show us how it all worked as there were all sorts of different buttons! We purchased the seat so he went and got us a brand new one from out the back and fitted that one in the car for us too! I think his name was Scott and was just covering that store for the day as they were short staffed. His knowledge and customer service skills were 10/10. He didn't rush us every though he was clearly busy. What a great experience!!! He really put our minds at rest that we had chosen a safe seat for our little girl :)”

“I have just left the Kidderminster store, what a really great experience. I have an issue with my cycle, little or no knowledge and have spoken with a great chap. Edric was so helpful, knew what needed to be done and offered several options. He spent 20 minutes explaining these options to me and has organised the work to be completed and at the cost of twenty pounds!
