So for £25 I thought it was a good deal.”

“The world needs more Richards! Second time I have bought from Saltdog cycling and each experience has been brilliant. Lake shoes are amazing and Richard is so knowledgable. Don’t hesitate, ring Richard, have a chat, work out your footwear needs and your size with him and order. Every time you ride you probably have a few bib shorts or tights to pick from, several base layers, jerseys, gloves and prob even sunglasses but you will always go to the same shoes. Get it right with Lake. I have spent a small fortune on overshoes over the years but my feet are always cold in winter. The Lake MX146 has transformed my riding in temps down to 2degrees. ( so far).”

“Mercian have done two frameset repaints for me, the first including spot repair to a cracked lug and the second some additional braze-ons (this one was under the "new ownership"). They did a great job on both and I would be happy to use them again. Time estimates were slightly approximate, though that didn't bother me.”
