Firstly when I called to book my bike in for electric motor repair the guy was quite irritable. Then while the bike was in the shop they called saying they don’t repair electric motors. So having spent quite a lot on a service, the bike is still unusable. Feedback reply I was only there yesterday. It was booked in for a motor planetary gear repair (£65 parts) on the recommendation of the manufacturer. When I called the shop, the guy who took the call sounded very irritated that volt had recommended your shop (shame on them for sending business your way) and reluctant to book it in. Then once in your workshop refused to even look at it but offered me a new motor at £400. What a potential waste of a good motor! (Sod the planet and my bank balance eh?) On the plus side I do have a new chain and sprockets, which is about as much use as a chocolate tea pot when the motor is the issue.

Very helpful shop. I went looking for a new bike as my frame had cracked after 8 years since I bought from them. They told me that was covered under Trek lifetime warranty. So I got a brand new frame and they moved all the components onto the new frame for free! What a result!

The Bike shop was charging twice as much for the parts then you can buy from other bike shops, even price on the website is lower what they charge for labour parts. Would never use them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Do not use them to avoid unexpected costs.

I recently bought an ebike from The Bike Shop. Their knowledge and expertise helped me get a bike that was right for me and nothing has been too much trouble.

Massive thanks to Sam and the rest of the guys for getting my new Wisper e-bike in time for my cycle London to Paris. We were up against the clock but they were very patient with me when I couldn't decide which bike I wanted and came up with creative ways round battery issues. Whatsmore I feel really confident they prepared it well and thoughtfully for my trip. Definitely recommend them!
