   Went looking for a spare part. They immediately told me it was not something they would be able to get hold of. Despite this, Simon the mechanic still spent about half an hour with me, explaining exactly what I needed, taking measurements and searching up code numbers, so that I had all the information I needed to buy elsewhere. Amazing service, thank you so much!

   Bought 2 bikes for Xmas they made a point of giving me a pre delivery inspection sheet for each bike on collection so stupid me never checked them over. Xmas morning couldn’t adjust seat as there was no bolt to tighten seat up. So very upset son not being able to ride his new bike Xmas day and Boxing Day. I said there open Saturday I’ll go and get a bolt so he arranged to meet his mates at bike track. On getting to the shop I was told ohh bring it back I said I just need a bolt I’ll do it was handed a bolt from behind counter I asked 3 times if it would fit no checking with other same bikes just was told it’s a seat bolt got home didn’t fit too thick. Yet again no checks just fobbed off. On calling up was told ohh just bring it in. Stop treating customers like idiots when u can’t do your own jobs. Very poor I would have like to give a positive review but after having upset kids at Xmas and now this would never use again.

   I don't think I would go anywhere else for a bike in future! Every single member of staff was so friendly, helpful and welcoming and not pushy or driven by fast sales. I didn't know what I was looking for for my son but they gave me the info to help me make a choice and didn't make me feel daft for not knowing. They even helped me load the bike into my car :) I will be taking my son back with me for the 8 week service so he knows where to go too! Highly recommend! Thank you to the team :)

   I recently moved to the area of alvaston derby. There was a family bike shop across from my address. I went into the shop at first to get my old mountain bike serviced. There was a few things that needed sorting out. They did an amazing job. In making my bike run as if it was new again. All the staff was so helpful and friendly and so efficient in everything they did. I also had a problem with Christmas a few months away. As I needed 3 decent mountain bikes for my 2 daughters and my son .who were mountain bike riders .I recently had gone through a divorce myself and money was tight. I asked one of the senior staff If they could help me pay weekly on a scheme they had in operation. They was so helpful and understanding and they helped me both picking out bikes for my children,who are now adults. They helped me pay for all three bikes just in time for the Christmas period,the weekend before Christmas 2025.I cannot comprehend how much they have made my Christmas and my children's Christmas. I've been in many cycle shops over the years and nothing comes close to hawk cycles in alvaston derby. All the staff are all so friendly and so professional at this company. I've also recently been in the shop today told them I want another GT mountain bike for myself after Christmas so we will be a 4 GT bike family. I would recommend this company to any other people or family who is looking for an absolute outstanding relationship with a bike shop who you can trust one million percent. A massive 100/10.    The staff seem to be happy to be there and the atmosphere they create makes it a good place to be, with good conversation while you wait. We bought 2 bikes and I was very surprised by the amount of checks they did on them before they allowed them to leave the shop. The chap who helped us to buy our bike was very knowledgeable about what he was selling. No hard sell either and not trying to push the most expensive bikes. Thanks for a good experience :-)

   Really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Took my son's bike in, needing rear gears replaced and they were able to do it the same day. (This was after two trips to a well known chain that deals in bikes but were unable to help me.) Next time I need anything bike related, I'll be going to Hawk Cycles first.

   Brilliant company. I was let down by another company getting a bike for my son. I ordered a bike through their website at 11pm the store rang me at 9 am the next morning to say they were building the bike straight the way and what time I was going to pick it up. Even put extra bits on it for me. Brilliant customer service and I will not be going anywhere else in the future

   Why have I never been here until recently... this place is outstanding and the the staff are so customer focused. They make you feel welcome and give you the best service possible so friendly and helpful. Now the products..... I purchased 5 bikes in total and wow I saved so much money with this company and the product is perfect. They managed the bikes for me from toddler to adult. I would never go anywhere else. keep up the good work guys.

   Just want to thank the guys here at Hawks, my son had an accident while out on his bike last week and the member of staff who was in could not do enough for him, he fixed his bike up straight away and was so easy going and friendly. Everytime we go in the staff are amazing. So thank you guys, were lucky to have people like you in our community. 100% recommend you☺️
