Wow. What an experience purchasing my first bike. From going in and meeting the team and having a long discussion about my overall goals over coffee, the next step was get me on the saddle. VB had a bike coming and this was the starting point of measuring me up to a frame and start building from there. Going in a few weeks later and getting on the saddle after a lot of adjustments we were there abouts ready to finally ordering my first road bike. Going thorough specs, extras, safety and more over another coffee, the wheels were ordered. On collection the bike was ready to rock and roll, again with the final fine tuning the setup was complete and I was ready to get it on the road. From start to finish to future works, VB have been fantastic, their attention to detail is 2nd to none and what an incredible start to getting on the road.
A real pleasure dealing with Luke and the team. They make the whole purchase decision very easy and provide excellent guidance throughout the process. The quality of the bike build and overall presentation was excellent. They ensure that you go away with a bike that fits well and even give you a chance to join their cycling community. I recently purchased a Pinarello electric gravel bike from Velo Barvarian. The advice and service that I received from Luke, Simon and the team was outstanding. For example, the team took the time to explain the differences between various models and helped me decide which bike would best suit my needs, and guided me through the setup process and made sure everything was ready for my first ride. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they were always happy to answer my questions or offer extra support. I would highly recommend visiting this store for their knowledgeable staff, attentive service, and excellent range of bikes.
Big thank you to Luke and the team for helping me out when I was knocked off my bike they offered a free estimate which then turned into, once the insurance company were involved a brand new bike which Lukes team spec’d fully to my old bike with the help of the measurements from uk bike fit. I literally didn’t lift a finger and they are so knowledgeable - nothing was too much trouble and in now have a better bike than before due to their expertise ! Vélo Bavarian have been servicing my bike for the last 18 months. The whole team are so encouraging, always happy to answer questions and provide a great service. When I came to making the decision to get a new bike they were the obvious choice. They took time to make sure I had the right bike for purpose and fit for me, asking me questions, never putting pressure but when I did make my mind up the bike was here within days.
