Recently started going again after a very long time!!! Gym refurb and centre redesign really good. Loving the aquafit...but will have to venture to the gym once pool shut for refurb!
The leisure centre is a bit tired in some areas. The gym is excellent, pool is okay and cafe is wonderful. Didn't visit all facilities so only based on those I used. Main downside is the steam room which had a stale urine smell. Sauna was great but both could do with a good clean. Overall happy.
Great place to take the family swimming. Cafe has a very good menu that’s not too expensive. Plus the cafe has a small soft play (free) for the kids.
Spacious and airy with a very good range of machines and weights. A bit limited on space for floor exercises though. I haven’t used the personal circuit training set of machines yet as on limited time for a specific event, but looks very good for overall base fitness training. Helpful staff. Parking is good.
A really lovely leisure centre complex. Complete with cafe. We were a visiting swimming club taking part in a gala there. Apart from one woman ignoring the rules for no air horns, it was well organised.
Great facilities for all levels of fitness, big gym, loads of classes and a nice cafe with lots of options.
Facilities go Nice size site. Considering it's a public service. Staff would benefit from developing customer service and improving their communication skills.
came here a couple years ago for a swimming gala, i found that the water was really thick and slowed me down, this caused me to come last. with this in mind i decided to return for a leisurely swim with my autistic friend to see if the water conditions had improved. my friend found it really difficult to swim and almost drowned twice, i wouldn’t recommend drinking the water either, it tastes of chlorine and it gave me a migraine.
Hi this is a amazing swing pool gim and mare just one thing about one man in his 40 he was working 18:32 on Tuesday 3 January and me and my family when into the Big pool and we when to the Deep end the man said that he can not go into the deep end because he can not talk he 8 and we say why not and he says that he had to Do a lap and he Did it But still not and then we all ask why not he snapt he say horrible fings to us and 1 min later a 4 year old was jumping he Did not had to Do a lap and that's why I think he sod Be fired
Good place to visit with family or friends for playing badminton, indoor football, basketball, table tennis. Swimming pool is also good enough. Have never used gym but it is equipped with lots of machines. Parking is available on site.
