    Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the behaviour of one of the employees at a Tesco store. We have been experiencing serious issues with this employee for some time. This employee repeatedly accuses my partner and me of stealing alcohol without any justification. Every time she sees us, she behaves in a rude and disrespectful manner towards us. This treatment is extremely upsetting and unfair. Today’s incident was particularly unacceptable. In the presence of the store manager, the employee snatched the receipt from my partner and attempted to search our shopping without any reason or explanation. We felt extremely embarrassed and shocked by the way we were treated. We have never experienced such a situation in any other store. We are deeply disappointed with the behaviour of Tesco staff. As a result, we have lost trust in this store, and this was certainly my last visit to Tesco. I expect an explanation of this situation and information on what actions will be taken to ensure that similar incidents do not happen again in the future.

    Staff are rude and creating hazard when they collecting stocks from shelves for Click-n-collect orders. They push the trolleys like uncontrollable teenagers in such an irresponsibly fast speed, and pay no attention to other shoppers in the axle. If YOU ARE A REAL SHOPPER DON’T GO. ONLY click-n-collect is welcome in this store.

    Tesco Extra in New Malden is one of the biggest supermarkets in the area, making it very handy and convenient for shoppers. You can find almost anything you need there — from groceries to clothing and school wear. The store also provides fuel at competitive prices, and with a large car park available, it’s easy and accessible for everyone

    This Tesco (Extra) has CHANGED ITS PARKING RULES RECENTLY, from July 2025, see the first and last pictures for details. Shopping regularly at this supermarket for years and so used to it three hours parking rule. It’s almost impossible to notice the new parking policy without a very clear sign of reminders. And as of August 15th, the sign at the entrance showing a maximum of three hours parking is still there (3rd pic), confusing customers. My most recent nighttime bulk shopping trip was on 08/07/2025 between 22:15-23:38. Upon returning home from summer vacation, a parking charge letter shocked me. After visiting the customer service desk twice, spoke with several staff, one of whom told me that they will help me to cancel the charge. One of the staff has mentioned that the signs of the new parking policy were not changed until 20th/21st of July. It’s means the parking management company sent out charge letters before changing signs. Such a shame. My personal opinion, the new parking policy is very strange, unreasonable and unwise. For those customers who need to do bulk shopping at night, the one hour limit will make them in much hurry and simply not enough, will be scared away.

    Poor halal selection, hardly ever able to get my full shop. Unfriendly staff that always seem inconvenienced if you should need help & the self check out staff are rude, dismissive the worst customer service/ support… ooh & it seems My child is continually profiled whenever we use this store, it’s not a coincidence that she is stopped by security! This store gives the Tesco brand a bad name & rep! The only positive review I’ve got is there’s ample parking during the weekdays.

    Tesco Extra, New Malden - Thank you to the gentleman working at the self-service tills last Saturday around 2pm for noticing my injured hand and so kindly and sincerely asking if I was ok. You also offered to pack my bags for me. It was busy and you were dealing with a lot of customers but you still took the time to make sure I was alright. Your colleagues working with you were also cheerful and very helpful. I am sorry I didn’t think to get your names. But thank you.

    I shop regularly at Tesco New Malden with my young autistic son. Today whilst shopping he became very overwhelmed whilst at the checkout and the gentleman serving me was very kind and helpful at telling another customer to give us some space. Another member of staff also brought over some tokens for my son to play with and spoke very gently to him. I hope they see this comment and know how much I appreciate their kindness.

    So recently I’ve been using “scan as you shop” scanner, first time I used it I scanned everything and immediately put my shopping in Bag, once we went to check out and transferred the scanner to the screen, a message appeared on the scanner that 30 of my products need to be checked by a member of staff, so we had to take everything out of bag for them to scan 30 products, so we can pay, for our shopping. And today again, went shopping in Tesco using the scanner same thing happened but this time 50 products had to be checked and scanned by a member of staff, she didn’t manage to scan them properly, so after 10 min of waiting we had to go to one of the cashier tills and put our shopping on there for them to scan everything. I just don’t get the point of all this, the scanner is supposed to make things easier and faster, but it’s making it more difficult and wastes our time. This never happens in other supermarkets, only in Tesco, sort it out, it’s ridiculous

    The car park is big, it has click and collect bay area. Inside there's Harris and Hooke plus Costa express machine. Also H&B shop too. There is public toilet inside. The upstairs has electronic and home appliance and clothes. The staff are very helpful, so if you can't find an item they will help you. Opposite the car park area there is petrol station and car wash
