    I walked in the store at 2257 tried to buy the stuff I wanted to be greeted with staff and a security guy that were telling me to get out as the store was closed this service is not appropriated by far I was in store before closing time and to be greeted in this way is in accepting by any way shape of form to be surrounded by all staff and be locked in the store which is a fire risk. I did not buy anything as of this intimidation from staff and security man this is totally un accepting and will not be shopping there again Aldi here I come thanks

    Just bought hot dog rolls 2 days ago. Best before date is 21 August. Mould on the inside of the rolls. Won’t be going there again which is a shame as since remodeling the shop it feels like a nicer more organized place

    UPDATE I noticed some man (probably the manager) called Syed being rude to his fellow staff and degrading them. Both those staff looked fairly young and was working and then he said something in his language. I approached him and asked for a manager and he said he’s not here and then he walked off. I then continued my usual shop and the boy at the till greeted me respectfully he had curly hair. Syed shouldn’t be swearing and saying these things regardless of if he is a manager or not. Besides this the other staff seemed good. Store is well stocked but the refurb didn’t change much! Should have added more self checkout.

    If I could rate it a 0 I would, horrific workers who work there. All moody no one is ever happy. I didn’t have a form of ID on me to collect a parcel I needed. I told the young lady and she had about 2 men behind her which I think is very impolite and made me feel a way. She was really rude the way she spoke to me and for all the other workers the shop is just ridiculous always stock on the floor. I just think the young lady and the workers in that shop are rude and impolite. Do not go in there always looking under my buggy as if I’m going to steel. They make you feel some kind of way. Do not shop in this Tesco.

    Miserable staff. My god what a horrible place to shop staff have changed but it’s worse. It always been like it never a nice experience when I go in it’s really lacking in there horrible experience will not be going back AVOID

    Rude staff who are more interested in their personal conversations with colleagues than serving paying customers. Often shouting over each other and blocking up aisles. They really couldn’t be leas interested in customers. Compared to the service in Purley, Banstead, Caterham or Whyteleafe stores, this is far from professional. Would avoid at all costs!

    I have lived here for 3 years and I am the only one to clean the rear and side alley of Tesco. I asked the CEO to help they said no (see photo of email) so I will stop. Within a few weeks the rear will look like a rubbish tip again and the council will know as I will inform them of how unhygenic it is. The owner of the cafe next door said he had to pay £1,000 along with the other local shops to have it cleared as the council made them pay.. If they are like this God only knows what they are like inside. I will keep you updated. I went 38 times in my car to the local dump to clean the alley when I moved in SHAME on Tescos.

    By far the best part of this store is the bakery and the baker. Excellent customer service. Absolute 5 stars. Tesco's croissant and batons are way better than in Waitrose next door. (ALDI Coulsdon doesn't have any fresh baked products). The rest of the store and staff is "meh", uninspired item choices, and pricey. But it's a great place to quickly grab a meal deal or something freshly baked...

    This has all the basics and some more exotic items Monday to Sunday from 0700 to 2300. The staff are quite friendly. It's not as price competitive as Aldi, but you'll be through the checkout far quicker!
