“Needed a new battery for my Mazda CX3 as my one had completely died on a Monday morning. Was advised to call Steve for assistance and was so pleased to find he had it in stock. Was asked to come down for battery and fitting straight away at a reasonable cost. Saved me some money as AA wanted a lot more! I was really pleased with the service and not too late for work either. Would recommend this lovely local business in our community.”

“Have finally find a great place for English breakfast after looking for a while. I am in my late 70's and my appetite is not what it used to be, sadly. I don't want a large breakfast, just a quality one. Thankfully the Grumpy Goose allows me to choose from the extras so I can choose exactly want I want and not waste food. I particularly like the fact that they offer back bacon and not just streaky or pancetta which seems the norms these days. All perfectly cooked, well presented and delicious.”

“Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?”

“We love the new wardrobes Rick and James have installed in our house. They have done two wardrobes in the bedrooms, one with a built in desk. Then a smaller room with a difficult stairs support they needed to cover up, it looks amazing and you would not know it was there. “THE MOST WONDERFUL FLORIST!! Juliet did the flowers for our February wedding - we had table pieces, bridal (and bridesmaids) bouquets, buttonholes and a moon arch for the ceremony. So many compliments from pretty much all of our guests - even the most unlikely ones (including my husband!) said specifically how gorgeous they were. And they lasted beautifully - top tip: brides -give your table pieces to your guests to enjoy at home after the big day (that was Juliet's idea and my friends loved it!). Really great guidance and suggestions on the specific flowers and combinations from Juliet if you need it - I found it tricky narrowing down 'the look' as I just love them all!
