“This was my first visit to DD’s. It is a wonderful family-run café where you’re greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The food is well-prepared, generously portioned, and full of flavour. The coffee was good too ! I highly recommend DD’s!”

“Have finally find a great place for English breakfast after looking for a while. I am in my late 70's and my appetite is not what it used to be, sadly. I don't want a large breakfast, just a quality one. Thankfully the Grumpy Goose allows me to choose from the extras so I can choose exactly want I want and not waste food. I particularly like the fact that they offer back bacon and not just streaky or pancetta which seems the norms these days. All perfectly cooked, well presented and delicious.”

“Popped in and sat outside on a lovely day basically in the park for a Thai tea latte, coffee and home made cake. We have been back several times. This last time we wanted to try the Thai dishes - my goodness what a treat. Fragrant and freshly made a truly delicious meal this time in the open and seated in the park”

“Mehmet and Livia were fantastic. Great coffee and super kind and helpful. Cappucino was just perfect and cheese and ham toastie also excellent. I was on a long ride and they made space for my bike so I could have my pit stop without taking all the gear of the panniers. Very thoughtful. Top notch all round!!”

Antonio is a great host and highly professional and I guess this help the extremely chill and friendly atmosphere in his premises. “I come here every week whilst my puppy has hydrotherapy next door, such a lovely cafe. Have had the full english, Buddha bowls (if I’m remembering the name correctly) and also the jacket potatoes. They also have paninis. Doggy friendly as well and the ladies that work here are always cheerful. The food is made fresh and is so good! There is something for everyone. The photo is my of my fav drink they do - chai latte!”
