Well Pharmacy shares a car park with New Southgate GP surgery. It is usually easy to park. It seems convenient because itโs right by the GP, but it takes a while for Doctors to send across the electronic prescriptions and for the Pharmacy to make it up. Some times a day or two. There are often people who go into the pharmacy straight from a GP consult expecting their medication to be waiting for them. It doesnโt work like that. If you catch them at a time when there is no queue, staff will often run around to make up an urgent prescription, even going across to the doctors to sort out queries, but they arenโt always able to. Also bear in mind it is closed at weekends, so it is really busy on Friday afternoon.

Hopeless, didnโt have one of my medications when I was sent a text message to collect so I was told they would let me know when they have got it in stock. A month later when I phoned to find out if they had my missing medication I was told that because it wasnโt collected within 3 weeks it has been returned and I will need a new prescription from my doctor. When I questioned the person on the phone why you didnโt let me know as I was told that is what you would do. She started by telling me that for start it wasnโt me and then keep your voice down. I told her when I say โyouโ this is to her organisation as she is on the call so she represents the firm. I did not raise my voice but had to keep repeating myself as she was not listening to what I was trying to say and kept repeating herself. I didnโt make it personal as I do not know her and this was towards your organisation which I will not be using again.

They don't answer the phone, the one time I managed to get through to them the female just abruptly said HELLO. I have been trying to chase my 79 year old mother in laws medication which they have had the prescription for a week, she trailed up herself just to be told they didn't have them in stock, she has completely run out and needs them. Will have to keep trying to phone them so we don't have to trail for nothing. Shocking!

Horrendous service at this pharmacy. Took my prescription in and was told it wouldnโt be ready until after 4pm. Knowing that before they took it I would have gone elsewhere. Anyway, I left it until after 4:30pm and decided to call ahead. The phone rang out for a while and then was picked up and I overheard 2 staff members talking and one say โjust hang it upโ called back a further 3 times and the same thing. Answer then put down. Wonโt be back here again. Highly recommend kingfisher pharmacy and wish Iโd just gone there as I normally do.

Collected my urgent prescription which took 5 days to dispense. I think the pharmacist tried his best, but his support workers appear not to care. Line of patients and one member of staff announces sheโs just going outside to take a (private) call. I see her as I come out, slumped against the wall texting. Absolute zero professionalism and patient-centred care

Well stocked, and although not the cheapest pharmacy they have the best selection.

Had my medication but asked me to come back an hour later because the lady was training. Ridiculous excuses even after I said I couldn't come back and this is the third pharmacy I've been to this afternoon

Had to give 1 star because I couldn't give none. I have had so many problems with this pharmacy. I went in a few weeks ago to collect medication for my daughter. It was an urgent prescription confirmed by her doctor but also she needed it before she went on holiday 6 days later. I called twice over the 6 days and it wasn't ready. On one of the days there were 7 people in front of me in the shop and 1 person waiting outside and no one came to serve for 10 minutes, then when people got to the front all I could hear was - 'It isn't ready'. My daughter had to go away without the medication and in the meantime I phoned back the doctor's who sent someone over. They initially told her that it wasn't ready but she mentioned that they had now had it 10 days! It eventually turned out they were unable to get the drug as it was in short supply but never told either the doctors or my daughter. I have now moved all my family to Rowlands in Wrenthorpe, who are amazing; friendly, helpful and extremely efficient.

Disgraceful pharmacy, totally unhelpful and take anywhere between 40 minutes and 3 hours to serve you. Quite often you just have to tell them you'll come back later. Don't bother phoning them either they don't pick up...ever!

A shambles, what ever happened to getting a prescription from the doctor on a bit of paper an take it to the pharmacy an they gave you it. I ordered a repeat prescription on Sunday, if I'm lucky I might get it Friday. I went to the doctors on Tuesday an he sent another prescription straight over, an said you can get it now. Guess what be lucky if I get it this week.
