“contacting you to say how great full we are to the pharmacist at Wakefield, yesterday he went above and beyond for my mum. She has just finished a course of bladder chemo and was particularly sore down below after contacting her gp they only had telephone appointment left which was quite late in day. They prescribed antibiotics and pain killers for her and told her if things got worse go to a&e. The prescription was delivered to door to door. I told her to ring them see if they could get it out to her asap. The pharmacy said if the prescription came before the driver went out again he would send it. Unfortunately the driver already had set back off by the time they received it, but the pharmacist got it ready and delivered it to my mum himself on his way home. I am so great full to him for that as my mum has been through a lot and was in so much pain and discomfort. It’s small things like this that makes a good company. So I thank you and please can you pass on my thanks to the pharmacist”

“Cannot thank Sophie enough for her knowledge and caring nature, I have had a poorly puppy for a couple of days and suspected she was allergic to her puppy food, mainly when opening a new bag, she wasn't eating much and had a bad tummy. Sophie explained every dog food in detail and which ones would help a sensitive tummy, we settled on AVA, within minutes of returning home the puppy had eaten a full bowl of food and her energy returned. “I have been to this chemist a number of times, and they usually get the prescription done in a timely manner. I know a lot of people in the area have an issues with their new policy, however this is not something new in pharmacy at all, around 2019 NHS England decided that it is the patients responsibility to order their own medication 7 days before they run out, this gives the GP 48 hours to get a prescription ready, and then the pharmacy 48 hours to order medication in and get get it ready for patients to walk in and out, without the waiting.”

“Alan and his staff are friendly, polite and helpful. I always use this pharmacy, for my repeat prescriptions, so does my partner and daughter. Alan always makes sure he has the correct brand of medications for my daughters epilepsy, at other pharmacies they always have to order them after she takes in the prescription. However Alan makes sure that the he has them their ready because he values his customers, he knows when a prescription is due. I would recommend this pharmacy to everyone. Marks out of 10, I would give it 10+.”
