Where do I start with this review. We got a puppy 15 years ago and chose Vest for Pets on Horbury Road in Wakefield to look after Marley. They were fantastic with him every time we took him. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep a few weeks ago and the staff were amazing. We've now received his ashes in a lovely casket. We can't thank the staff enough for the last 15 years of loving care for Marley

Needed to take my daughter"s dog on short notice but this involved getting his records moved over from their home surgery. The admin staff couldn't have been more helpful or kind and the vet himself was very attentive, efficient amd knowledgeable. Result: one happy dog and one relieved dog grandparent!

The girls on reception are always so nice and make the experience so much easier , they really could not have been nicer. When you ring for support they go above and beyond, a real credit to any practice. We never encounter any problems.

All staff at the surgery are always so friendly and welcoming, we have attended this particular vets since 2004, attending for annual vaccinations and any sickness of pur 4/5 cats over the years. We wouldn't ever go anywhere else. During covid it was brilliant for us as pet owners as we could speak via zoom during consultation, as when talking to others that use othet vets never had that service. Also I want to say a big thank you for how us and our cat was treated when she had to be put to sleep. We didn't have to wait, payment was taken over the phone before, and we received her back without fuss. Everyone was so lovely and understanding

When you ask Steve any questions about your pet he always explains everything well . You never feel like he's rushing you out of the door even though they have a schedule . All the reception staff are very friendly . I've have mobility issues & even though it was raining heavily I had two staff members offer to help me carry my cat out to my car . I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My dog has been registered with this practice for nearly 10 years. We had a series of health problems with him 2 years ago and felt we were getting nowhere with treatment. His health took a turn on Saturday and we were dreading going back. Stephen was fantastic and didn’t try give our dog medication he didn’t need. I instantly felt relieved and got the answers I needed. The receptionist was very empathetic and just generally lovely. The previous receptionist 2 years ago was extremely rude. It was a pleasure to see such positive changes have taken place.

Our pets are new to vets4pets and right from the initial telephone call to make appointments for vaccinations and spaying the staff were amazing. Julie with the dark hair and the young lady with dark hair and glasses are so professional, friendly and polite. The nursing staff are polite, friendly and very informative. All staff very supportive. My daughter is autistic and I asked staff to reassure her about the spaying operations that her kittens were having. They were very reassuring as they could see my daughter was visibly upset. Very happy with their services. This is the only vets in the area that offer the kitten pack too, which saves ££££, includes vaccinations, health check, microchip, 3 months of flea and worm treatment.
