“Needed to take my daughter"s dog on short notice but this involved getting his records moved over from their home surgery. The admin staff couldn't have been more helpful or kind and the vet himself was very attentive, efficient amd knowledgeable. Result: one happy dog and one relieved dog grandparent!”

“Amazing service, we went away for 10 days to Italy and knew our dogs would be looked after perfectly. We were kept updated by Lucy while away with messages/photos of our dogs and they looked like they were having a great time. She took them on daily walks and to dog parks off their own back. When coming home our house was left clean and in order which is great when coming back from a long holiday. Would highly recommend their service and will be using them again for sure.”

Since rehoming a dachshund I have brought her from 11 weeks old for her claws trimming as it’s a two man job, and every time I call to check for a drop in they always accommodate me and my dog no longer dreads having her nails trimmed and filed with how gentle they are with her!”

“Cannot thank Sophie enough for her knowledge and caring nature, I have had a poorly puppy for a couple of days and suspected she was allergic to her puppy food, mainly when opening a new bag, she wasn't eating much and had a bad tummy. Sophie explained every dog food in detail and which ones would help a sensitive tummy, we settled on AVA, within minutes of returning home the puppy had eaten a full bowl of food and her energy returned. I cannot thank her enough.”

“I took my German Shepherd Tyke for his booster and check up .He can sometimes be a little skittish at the vets but Suzanne soon put him at ease .She has a very gentle caring approach and is extremely knowledgeable. My dog received a thorough check up and didn't flinch with the vaccination and kennel cough .She is a very friendly and approachable vet who doesn't rush the client and is very thorough .She is a breath of fresh air and a credit to the company The young lady on the reception was also so very helpful and patient when I was filling out my healthy pet club forms I can highly recommend my local vets practice in Wakefield”

“Had a one night stay here last Friday. Room was very comfortable. No air conditioning but there was a pedestal fan in the room which was effective. The shower was amazing. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. All the staff we met (Jane, Sue and Tonia) were really friendly and helpful.”

“Had a lovely 3 night stay here with my daughter. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are genuinely friendly and take time to engage with their guests - we really felt welcomed. The buffet breakfast selection was good and items regularly replenished. The location is very central - it's an easy walk from the station, and public transport is good. Also lots of cafes, bars and eating places nearby. We took local buses to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and to Sandal Castle, and hopped on Wakefield's free bus to get to and from the Hepworth Gallery. Would definitely stay here again.”
