Stay at this Travelodge on a regular basis when visiting family. The staff are lovely, always greet you with a smile and are so helpful if you need anything. Even though it is at a motorway service station , rooms are quiet. Everything is very clean. Price is always good. There is an MandS, WH Smith, Greggs, Costa and Burger King at the services. Very happy to recommend this Travelodge.

Have stayed here a few times over the past couple of years. Price is always one of the lowest in the area. The hotel is set back from the motorway so you don't really hear the noise I have been checked in by Alison quite a few times, she is an absolute godsend. A typical friendly Yorkshire lady, she even recognised me from a previous stay. Even the briefest conversation with her puts my mind at ease and creates a relaxing environment. I've never had a problem with any of the rooms. They have even been refitted lately along with the resurfacing of the car park outside. I look forward to my next stay here

Really helpful and accommodating staff who made my stay much easier with a child. They arranged a ground floor room for me, and the lovely lady even brought the Uber driver to my door so I didn’t have to leave the room. The rooms were tidy, neat and consistently clean. Everyone was friendly, happy, and welcoming — great service!

I chose to stay in a travelodge as the rates were ok and it stated had a bath. The hotel is situated on M1 and within service station, onsite were M & S, WHS, Greggs,Burger King and Costa. Free onsite parking with disabled parking and access. Reception staff lovely and helpful. Positive We stayed in disabled twin room The room good size, modern, clean and standard facilities. Negative The water temperature wasn't hot enough for a bath, didn't even dissolve bath salts, no bath mats so you need to ask for extra towels to prevent slipping. The curtains are blackout but due to fitting it still let in light, we hung a bed cover over curtains to help resolve it slightly. The fitted bedsheets were clean but badly stained and torn at corners so looked grubby they really needed new ones. The TV was OK but small size and positioning was not central. The mirror had lighting but no additional desk table lamp so if you was putting maycup on or simply getting sorted for bed it would not have been adequate leaving possibly bathroom as an option but this would require you to be standing up not great if disabled. The room comes with a fan and kettle, Minimal tea and coffee but you can ask for more. The twin beds were soft , no headboards so if you moved bed ie for better position or to get away from snoring partner bear this in mind. The width of bed am not sure if standard It was OK for me am only 5ft and size 12/14. But my husband over 6ft and possibly over 18 stone found it uncomfortable. Overall I would stay again if rates good, usually Thursday and Sunday cheaper. But not sure it would be my first choice that's mainly due to not hot enough water.

We had an unplanned stay having been stuck in traffic for 7 hours. We arrived late in the evening. A lovely chap called Cain helped me book a room. His service was impressive. He was welcoming and friendly. An asset to Travel lodge. Clean room , comfy beds. Would definitely recommend.

This is a typical Travelodge. It was clean, surprisingly quiet given it's location, and staffed with a lovely team (especially Alison who made me feel immediately welcome!) It is dated, could do with a spruce up, but it did the job for me on this occasion.

One of the best Travelodge hotels we have stayed in. The room was immaculately cleaned. The lovely ladies on reception we're as helpful as can be. Also surprisingly (due to being at a service station) quiet compared to some other locations. We will pick her over other hotels in the area in future. Date of stay 23/06/22

The travel lodge was very dirty with toe nail clippings by the bed, hair in shower, ripped furniture (very worn). No one on reception. Did not stay a second night as we felt unsafe staying there.
