Genuinely an absolutely amazing chemist. Majid & each & every member of staff cannot do enough for you. Whatever you need they'll do their utmost to get for you. As quick as they're able to. Been a customer for many years. Highly recommend. Much prefer this small village chemist where you're valued as a customer than the likes of supermarket chemist's etc. Where they dont really give two hoots. I know in life you can't please everyone all the time. But they really do try their best for everyone. Thank you everyone.

I don't agree with the business closing for a 1 hour lunch, as there is scope for staggered breaks and providing a continuous service throughout the day, because there are plenty of staff to do this. You need continuous improvement of service and to be seen to carry on taking breaks and close the business just because that's what they're used to! It would also improve getting people's medication ready, instead of making people wait too long also, so there's much to do, instead of standing still!

Edit- updated because the pharmacy manager spoke to me personally. They apologised as I had been misinformed and walked me through the new procedure. From ordering a prescription is should be approx 4 days..so if you put the request in on Monday you should be able to get your medication on Thursday. Still not ideal imho but all pharmacies seem to do the same now and I still had one medication they couldn't fill; some of this is supply issues due to Brexit. Clearly the initial staff member didn't understand the correct timeline and comprehend when my prescription has been issued to them. This demonstrates an issue with training staff about their systems, changes and how those are communicated customers. That said this is something they are committed to improving and the manager discussed the steps they are taking to mitigate such issues in the future. Initial review: Apparently they have moved from 3-5 days to dispense to 8 days to dispense as of Wed 14/2.. which means I will run out of my medication which without I will have serious life impacting consequences. I have not been informed and my prescription was issued on 12/2 sucks to be me caught in the cross fire. I had even ordered early as I am on holiday but needs now not due until after I have gone away. They also only have one brand of a common medication that I can't have because it's the only brand I can't have. This is not the first issue I have had with the pharmacy as they have previously mis-dispensed against instructions on the prescription, failed to manage stock in a timely manner and changed hours (again without being informed). I have had to call 111 to get emergency scripts twice in the last 6 months because of their failures and now looking at a 3rd time.

I have been to this chemist a number of times, and they usually get the prescription done in a timely manner. I know a lot of people in the area have an issues with their new policy, however this is not something new in pharmacy at all, around 2019 NHS England decided that it is the patients responsibility to order their own medication 7 days before they run out, this gives the GP 48 hours to get a prescription ready, and then the pharmacy 48 hours to order medication in and get get it ready for patients to walk in and out, without the waiting.

Went to pick up medication only to be told that it had been denied by the surgery, went to the surgery only to be told that my medication was at the chemists. Went back to the chemists to pick up the medication that was there all along and not one apology. There's no excuse for bad manners!

Staff are very polite. They took time out to say hello to my baby while we waited a couple of minutes for our prescription which made me feel very welcome. Fast and great service i will only use this chemist

This chemist also run a drop off point for DPD (parcel courier). You take your items there and the courier collects from the shop. You pre pay online and input the details through DPD's website. However this shop always complain about the size of the item. Even though my items have been measured and weighed and are within the accepted size for this courier the staff in the shop always complain. I have on a couple of occasions almost been turned away until I protested my item was within size. The staff say there accepted size is size isn't what it states on DPD. It just seems like the decision to accept parcels has been made by management but the staff don't want the work. It is only 50p extra to drop off at the post office and send through Parcel Force which I shall be doing from now on. Terrible staff!
