Tried my first yoga class at the village tonight with Ashleigh Wong and it was honestly the best yoga class I’ve ever been to. Ashleigh is so knowledgeable, the whole class flowed beautifully, and she was incredibly easy to follow throughout. I loved the sequence of the movements, and the breathwork and aromatherapy at the end really made the experience. Even the playlist felt perfectly aligned with what I love . Thank you such a lovely class ✨

I absolutely love the village gym, all the staff make you feel so welcome, and the atmosphere is great, also I have been having PT sessions with Lee, this knowledge is second to none and I really enjoy the sessions, also helps that he’s a city fan

I have been a member now since January and love it here. I use it for group exercise classes mostly. Having all the les mills licenses and variety from the other clubs that were local sold it for me. I wanted Les Mills and not an imitated program. I attend Body Combat weekly with Jason, Carla and Emma, Body Pump with Jason and Carla, RPM with Carla there are many other classes but I don't want to over train. I'm also excited to try the new shapes soon. Beside les mills I love the burn studio, the variety of sessions all the instructors provide in there are great and recently the reformer studio for the reformer pilates and fitcore. The group cycling studio has the BEST atmosphere! classes are busy, fun, energetic and just what I need. The community formed from this and special music requests and mixes by the intructors are fab. Total Creamfields vibes weekly with Mark, 90's nostalgia with Jacob and ultimate karaoke with Lisa. I honestly cannot explain how being part of this community has helped my own mental health and wellbeing. My son also uses the gym and has a junior membership. He goes 3 times a week and last week picked up the courage to go on his own. He said he was blown away with the members who wanted to help him and spot him. Again different environment but the confidence it has given him is great. Once his GCSEs are out the way we will look at some specific training as my friends have the PT sessions and their progress has been amazing. I want that for him when he has more time. Socially they have done cheese and wine nights, coffee mornings and cycle and gin! Really thankful for the team for making the last 11 months awesome and looking forward to staying fit in 2026 with you all :-) thank you Lee, James, Omar and Carla

Signed up last week with my baby girl and absolutely loving it so far! I had a lovely tour, with a proper sit-down chat and clear explanation of prices. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place itself is lovely. I was looking for somewhere with daily reformer Pilates and a pool for swimming with my baby. I had been paying separately for one reformer class and one swimming lesson a week, which cost more than this membership!! Now we can swim whenever we like (with a lesson included), take 4x reformer classes a week, and use all the other amenities like the sauna, gym, and group classes. The pool is large and spacious, everywhere is clean, people are lovely, the reformer classes are brilliant (great staff and only 10 reformers so you get the correction/attention necessary), and there’s a great community feel. We really love it here. Thank you!

Fake reviews and dangerous facilities From the top down staff don’t care that the gym management staff bribe and coerce members into giving fake reviews. I personally gave my phone to the gym manager to write her own review because she relentlessly hounded me for reviews. Gym management also disregard safety considerations and 2 people have been hospitalised recently. There has been a marked and progressive decline in the standard of the Warrington Village hotel facilities due to poor investment and constant resales of the business. Currently the Village don’t employ cleaners in the gym and areas of the gym tend to be filthy. Other specifics: 1. The spin room is over crowded with bikes, many of which are badly in need of maintenance. Two currently have no pedals. This causes issues because there isn’t room for people to move in there and find a functioning bike; and there aren’t enough working bikes for people booked on the class. 2. The studio has a dangerous slippery floor and is overcrowded with equipment for the village version of Hyrox. Despite the fact that senior management have known this for years, no action was taken and someone broke their wrist slipping on the floor. The floor still has not been replaced despite member requests over years. Someone was also injured and needed hospital care when a Hyrox class was moved to the gym due to the slippery floor. No action taken, AGAIN. 3. The yoga room is substandard in many respects and there is usually excessive thumping noise bleeding through from other areas of the gym. The class numbers make the room very overcrowded if it is at capacity. 4. The weights facilitates are so bad that I joined an alternative gym to weight train, JD. There isn’t enough space for the huge membership, aggressively recruited with discounts and Groupon deals. Much of the equipment at the Village Warrington is old and often several pieces of equipment are out of operation at the same time. 5. I never use the changing rooms or toilets in them if I can help it, they are filthy, rundown and need extensive renovations. 6. Box n burn/ HIIT room, which hosts a version of Barry’s workout (which they claim is a unique village invention)- is unventilated, disgusting, smelly and dank, the gloves stink. The equipment seldom all works. Whilst there are some good instructors and nice members; but the hotel facilities including the car park and stairs at the entrance are woefully in need of attention. The EV points have been under construction for maybe 12 months, taking out part of the car park. The stairs at the entrance are always barricaded and under repair persistently. The building is dropping to bits. It’s been owned by a string of venture capitalists who only care about adding value for resale. They are adding 66 rooms to a dilapidated low quality building on the flood plane; the pressure selling of gym memberships adds to the bottom line but results in overcrowding.

Blonde Darcy was so nice and helpful. Was having a rough day but she made it a lot better with how friendly she was. Thank you.

I was choosing between three different gyms few months ago and to make me join they told me that I can easily bring a friend time to time , just to ask for free passes on reception. But once I have asked they told me this isn’t an option. Also free personal training never been offered to me as they promised before. I am not gonna to renew my membership with them. Natalia

Great facilities and very handy spa to use for a good recovery after a workout. Very clean and well kept.

I joined the gym in March to use the pool for me and my 2 kids. I quickly discovered that I can physically not take them both being on my own as they are both so little (aged 2 and 1) and so changed the membership to off peak in June. Since then I have not been AT ALL, due to always having the children on my own. I have paid HUNDREDS of pound to go the pool twice for 30 mins which due to the cost of living dramatically going up, I just physically can not afford to be wasting money like this. So I sent an email asking to cancel, which was IGNORED. I chased this again and was sent a response saying they would cancel this in JUNE from the day when I changed to off peak and not even the day when I originally started. I have explained to them that I can not afford to be paying so much for something I physically can not use. It’s shocking that such a profitable organisation is forcing me to continue to pay it and I keep getting emails demanding more money. I am shocked and saddened by this service and will certainly not be using or recommending such a heartless company to anyone!
