Always slow to serve customers, Medway across the carpark is far easier to deal with, the staff are much more helpful.

Was told my daughter asthma medication would be ready after three after waiting two days went back to be told it would be ready on the Thursday this was requested by asthma nurse on the Monday they had to order the medication no problem there but no notice went to get it when I was told after 3 and still not got it, itβs shocking as I usually have a months worth or medication and they give me less and Drs keep saying a month and they donβt provide a months worth for the max dose and I have to order my prescription earlier because I run out, service I shocking as of late and Iβve had no issues till end of last year Iβm considering getting Drs to give me the prescription and going elsewhere from now on

Absolutely shocking at this place. I would give 0 stars if I could. I won't be speaking to any of your team about this. Watch the cctv it's self explanatory. I have done with "WELLS" it's never been very good but now it's disgraceful how they treat people. I have a new pharmacy now who deserve 10 stars for sorting your mess out.

Getting worse this chemist. How can a prescription what is sent from the doctors not as a repeat but as a request, how can it take 4 days for my tablets. This is stupid. When your poorly and go to see your GP you shouldn't have to wait 4 days. Not sure if under staffed . Needs sorting out because not nice for patients and also the staff who work there who have to deal with the backlash.

I can honestly say I have never met a more genuine caring pharmacist than Paula who works at well chemist Horbury! Donβt get me wrong at times there can be a wait but this is usually because the Lloyds chemist has messed up or havenβt done there job so people end up having to change to well chemist! An Jane the small lady with the short hair an nose stud, is exactly what a customer service person should be like, helpful kind goes out of her way to help you, even when at times she gets abuse which is disgusting, she canβt make prescriptions appear! Both me an my husband use this chemist weekly an the care, compassion an help we have received is fantastic! So as well as this review Iβd like to say thank you β€οΈ

Horror of a Chemist... Never ever text to say prescriptions are ready. So I have to ring and ask if ready. Hardly ever answer the phone and then when they do, before I can say my name I get cut off. This is not isolated occasions, this is every single repeat prescription cycle.... Then when I go to collect. It's short of tablets and I get a ticket to go back for more.... but they never text to say tablets are ready, so I have to ring but they hardly ever answer the phone..... can you see a pattern emerging? Yep..... SHOCKINGLY BAD CHEMIST When I get home and check meds, I've had tablets totally missing and not given a ticket or even advised they are missing..... Can't win at all..... I go down and ask for prescription and explanation why it's so bad, they have the neck... to say... oh this is so unusual it's an isolated case, sorry... Read your reviews Well Pharmacy You are TERRIBLE

Before I comment on the service as a whole, I think Well+ has pleasant staff that are friendly and helpful. However, itβs the system I have a niggle with. Thus, this is I suspect an issue whichever pharmacy you visit. Years ago, one would get a prescription from the surgery, take to a pharmacy of your choice, wait 5-10 mins, for it to be dispensed, and that was it. The aim of EPS was meant to be a more efficient and convenient streamlined service for doctors, pharmacists and patients. It is certainly a more time efficient way for doctors to process patient requests, but from a patients perspective, it falls short of its original aims when considering dispensing. The issue is why does it now take 48 hours to βdispenseβ a repeat? It seems like technology has forced us back in time here, not forward. It has essentially gone from 10 minuets to 2 days. I understand there may be a lot of scripts to fill, but if done βmanuallyβ like times of old or by EPS, there are still the same number of scripts to dispense. The idea of EPS is very good in principle, and makes things certainly safer. However it is much less convenient for patients when compared to the original paper (FP10) method when it comes to repeats.

The doctors and practice are great, but the pharmacy not so much. Visited the doctor today, was told to come an hour or so later for my prescription. Turned up at 1.25 pm to pick it up and was told at the pharmacy that my prescription was ready but couldn't be picked up because the pharmacist was at lunch for at least another half an hour. Poor service.
