Located near Ilford town centre. Relatively well stocked. Floor appears dated but understandable because of the footfall here. It can be busy being at the heart of the town. Staff are quite helpful. Free Parking is limited to a couple of hours

Excellent shopping experience! This Sainsbury’s Superstore is always clean, well-organised, and fully stocked with everything I need. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is quick and efficient. The fresh produce and bakery sections are especially good — always fresh and great quality. Parking is convenient, and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. A really pleasant place to do your weekly shopping — highly recommended!

Members of staff in this store are very disrespectful towards customers. And the service are utter rubbish. I had experience that before and I have experience it this morning. Particularly from NAS. She needs more training on how to deal with customer's requests and provide service. The Sainsbury's head office should investigate why the staffs in this store are rude towards customers and how to improve their service. Otherwise your loyal customers will desert you.

Their customer service closes at 9pm even though their shop is open till 10pm. I raised a complaint how their cat food section is a mess where in a single row, there are mixed ages for kittens and cats. This lead me to buy the wrong age for my kitten. I raised this with the staff member who wasn’t willing to resolve this when I just wanted to exchange the cat food for the right age. I asked at 9.30pm. She told me to come back another day. Not happy with the service at all.

A wide variety of food, fresh fruits and veggies, raw meat, drinks, kitchen utensils, a small variety of clothes, cat and dog food, toiletries, home care, personal care ... quite busy sometimes but the queue is moving quite quickly

Lot's of free parking in the heart of Ilford town. The tills could be manned more but self service is the way to go it seems. The store is quite big and generally had everything you would need. One negative would be that the toilets are forever out of order

Came here to do my shopping and then have a walk into town center . I asked the security guy how can I pay for the parking , so can stay longer than the free 1.5 hour. He said go outside and pay at the machines , you can see them everywhere . I wonder around for like another 10 minutes, couldn’t see any machines and got mad and left. One week later I got a fine , just because I was in the car park 10 more minutes, instead of leaving on time. Staff should be more polite and actually help their customers , cuz now I have to spend extra £50 for nothing, just because someone gave me the wrong advice. Next time be more empathetic, staff from Sainburry! Also not planning to come here ever again!

Not been here for a few years. No frozen garlic bread. No jam donuts or hot cross buns. Gap filling on promo chicken fillet I found correct price at self scan. 1 checkout open big queue. Self scan in operation if you could call it that. 1 person managing this came to me 4 times he was back and forth. Only saw 3 staff 1 self scan 1 checkout and 1 on shopfloor. I've seen more staff in Lidl. Poor Sel with many missing

If it would be a zero star, I would defo rate it!!!! Worse customer experience ever in my life!!!!!!! After passing a year since they have removed the inside store toilets, they could not manage to let at least one for the disable people and pregnant women.I had a very disappointing and very bad situation yesterday. being in the third trimester of pregnancy is had for me to walk and I really needed assistance for going to the wash rooms. The security guy was not helpful at all, his statement was go to public toilets which are opposite street because even if you will speak to the manager, the manager will not leave you to go to the staff washrooms!!! Like Seriously? I was barely walking, and in pain, and their statement was to go public toilets? This is my worse customer experience ever, they were seeing me nearly collapsing over there, and no care or support from their side. I was going barely with my fiancé to the public toilets and on the way back, I was talking to the manager(middle age Asian woman) her statement being that there is no cafe, therefore no toilets and I can go and make a complaint! What an answer!!! Why then Tesco or Waitrose or M&S have one even if there are no cafes ??? For such a big store, there should be compulsory a washroom for the disabled people and pregnant women!!!That was not an excuse at all for such a famous and big store brand in the UK!!! Very, very disappointed and on the way of avoiding any sainsbury's stores for all my family and friends I know!!!!
