   I was concerned by something I saw during my recent visit to this Tesco store. I noticed the managers, Monz and Claire, speaking to a colleague in a way that seemed quite harsh and uncomfortable to watch. It did not create a very pleasant atmosphere. It made me feel as though some staff may not be treated fairly, and that is not something I am comfortable supporting. Because of this experience, I do not feel I can continue shopping somewhere where it appears that employees may be treated differently or unfairly. I hope the store can work towards a more supportive and positive environment for everyone.

   Never any staff on tills and getting worse. 1 poor lady on the only open till with 8 trolleys already queued. The self service tills had a queue of 15 waiting. No sign of a manager, staff about but doing other things. I have used this store since it opened and this was never a problem in the past, appalling customer service

   I hate writing negative reviews but here it goes. Absolutely disgusting customer service from the OLD lady with grey hair, glasses and wears a medical mask 24/7 (as if we are still in the year 2020 LOL). She works/watches over the self check-outs, for those who have the trolleys. Miserable, rude and condescending. I will be back to write another review once I get her name. Avoid interacting with this old miserable woman, who clearly hates her job and wishes she could quit!!

   The new checkout was closed and hardly any staff on the old checkout also big line for the old self service checkout wasn’t happy but managed to purchase my items after 50 minutes of waiting in the line and the old checkout system isn’t great as I scanned every item and had to get approval on all of it and I only got a few things like a birthday card and some blue paper confetti and the old checkout stopped and requested for assistance for approval on these items. There were 3 members of Tesco staff on their phones and not paying attention to customers at the checkout. Caused massive delay and needs to be investigated and improved as this is not right and I’m sure many customers were annoyed at the long wait. Toilets were filthy and very sticky floor. In the men’s loo there was stool around the cubicle door and some sticky substance in the sink. The urinals were not working properly and weren’t clean enough. I am very disappointed with this. I would highly recommend that you go to a different store. The better quality shop is Sainsbury’s in locksbottom. Please avoid Tesco at all costs.

   Positives: Large free underground parking for 3 hours. Large selection. Negatives: Rude, creepy security, rude old staff who think they know everything and they are right no respect for customers if you ask where an item is located as store is massive they just point you that direction blatantly and leave you to it without further help.

   Some goods label saying take it to any counter and when you have reached the counter ,they have informed us to take to customer service once you reached customer service ,the item not their.???????? Change the labels give correct information please do not waste customer valuable times

   Interesting, of course.... Nice fashion this year, Greek key design dress, & easy to wear other options! Neat ideas for the home as well! Cafe is a good drop in place - ideally placed - Infront of the toilets!

   Large store set over 3 levels. The Lower is a carpark. Your going to get what you need in the way of groceries. Added benefit clothes. For me Tesco is slightly cheaper than Sainsbury's, so its winning.
