“It was my first time visiting this shop yesterday. I purchased samosas and vada pav. They are best heated at home. The people serving were very polite and helpful. The samosas were absolutely lovely and the vada pav was excellent and a great level of spice to it. Reminds me of the ones in Bombay. The vada pav here is so much better than SKVP. I will definitely be buying it again. Highly recommend it.”

“2025 **** I forgot I already done a review! Update to say thank you for being so supportive and to everyone who has been very kind. Also a special thanks to Candi for going above and beyond to help with dietary needs etc 2019 **** The woman with red hair on reception was LOVELY! Last time I didn’t have a great experience but this time... wow! She was so so lovely and accommodating. After having a csection and having to arrange a lift to pets at home that day, she explained that I would have to order and come back the next day for treatment. I apologised for not knowing and explained I would need to get a lift the following day (not expecting her to change the rules) She said “you know what... we aren’t busy let me go and sort that for you. It will save you getting someone to bring you back down.” She asked me about the baby etc She was personable and so so understanding She went above and beyond out of her way to help me That is customer service at its finest!!! Well done for getting someone like her on board! It makes such a difference to your day when you come across gems like that!!! Thank you! Please make sure this feedback gets back to her!! “I must say it was a breathe of fresh air to be have someone as cheerful and personable as Ilektra assist with checking in my vehicle for a pre-arranged MOT. The van was swiftly processed through the MOT procedure with Andrew and came out with a clean bill of health. I was called immediately once it was completed and duly collected the van. “I use Aambal, obviously as a small store they can't compete with Supermarket prices but they're are still reasonably priced. They get bad press about selling booze but my living room is no more that 4ft from the paving and I watch young males drinking beer out of a can and these males are entering the village from Locks Bottom direction so don't put all of this alcohol disturbance down to Aambal.”
