“Lovely Costa in the Tescos, mince pie for breakfast and large cappuccino sets up the day. Really friendly staff and nice area to sit”

“Always well stocked and presented, staff are quite active and attentive, easy layout means everything is easy to find. Don't see the manager on the floor much, seen him once in the year or so I've been coming here, that was to open a till when they were busy, although the lady did have to ring 4 or 5 times lol very happy with the shop, enjoy coming here to shop. Also has air con!”

“I went in to Iceland today, my ms was giving me trouble so was draining to shop and get buses. Some angel of a lady who works there I think her name is Laura but not 100 percent noticed I wasn't right plus noticed I was upset and this beautiful human being offered to pay for a cab for me , what a kind caring and compassionate lady we had a moment and I will never forget her heart. I declined the cab but the amazing man who stands by the door pushed my trolly to the bus stop. I jst want to say thankyou I Will remember your empathy and kindness and just want to let you know your both amazing ❤️”

“Easy to navigate, not always as cheap as you might expect”

“It maybe a mini version of a usual H&B store, but, the staff here are so helpful, resourceful having vested interest in the welfare of the customer over just selling anything off the rack. Special thanks to Lesley and Antonina, they have always been nice to my family, given us useful tips, advises and product information. Also on how best we can use our H&B loyalty card and deals to save money. They even sweetly pamper my little one and she loves going to the store for her dose of healthy snacks. As the store is small, I usually order my items online and it quickly gets delivered for pick up from this local store. I have been visiting H&B stores for years, but, when we moved local, I found the service in this store way more personalised, warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work!”

“Love Wilko's in Orpington, always a great range of good, sensibly priced products. The staff are always helpful and ready to assist. Will be an absolute shame if Wilko's went the same way as Woolworths and were consigned to history. People, get away from your screens, off line, and save your high street, you'll miss it when it's gone.”

“In Sainsbury's Beckenham the staff's are really good. They are always ready to help when you need to look for something that you want to buy but couldn't find where it was located. They are very friendly especially Debbie.”

“Eddies is a friendly off licence and grocery shop. Owner is very much interested in customer feed back both to improve service and improve the range of product. Parking always available either in the front of the shop or nearby free car park which is only couple of minutes away. All day to day essentials are well stocked up. Some halal products such as sausages and salami are available in shop. Owner is willing to take orders for meat which can be delivered the following day however I have not tried this service yet. Overall a pleasant shopping experience every time you go in. Finally a much needed late night off licence and grocery for the area.”

“Staff are great in here! Helpful n friendly, shelves are always stocked plus I sometimes order online and pick it up from the store as I work in Orpington. Much prefer Super drug to Boots, cheaper and has alot of choice.”

“Abbeymet lead is a top grade clean product supplied by schnieder from Germany. Ray visited their plant a few years ago and said it was spotlessly clean and the quality was 1st class. In my opinion you won't get better sheet lead . Abbeymet have been the best service regarding quality of lead and delivery. I've known ray since he started his company and his family maintain their professional distribution to customers today in the same way they did from the start. See for yourself and you won't go elsewhere for lead.”

“I’ve been here couple of times. The staff are really kind and welcoming. The shop is really clean and posh looking which is amazing. There are Exotic fruits I haven’t heard of and they are high quality. Bit pricey, but high quality. It’s worth to try. There are whole range of vegs and organic items and I would 10/10 recommend it.”

“To be hounest when i first used the shop they didnt seem to welcome me and there paypoint never worked i was kinda put off by this, i know paypoints are a zero mark up profit so i guess they didnt like you just using the store for just the zero profit benefits as these are used in shops to attract customers to buy items then top up there elcetric or gas , but as i became a regular due to prices in another nearby shop , after a while all of a sudden there paypoint always worked lol and they became more friendly now i wont vist many other small convenience stores because they are atualy nice people when you get to know them and become a regualar customer - husband and wife run store”

“Being a Superstore rather than a Tesco Extra, this store is lacking the extensive homewares and electronics sections of larger outlets, and the small area allocated to clothes is a little underwhelming, but otherwise this is a good sized supermarket offering pretty much everything you need for a regular grocery shop. Staff are helpful, there are plenty of Scan As You Shop devices, a cafe and loads of parking.”
