   Would not recommend. Very poorly managed and constant delays. Staff seem to Lack understanding of vital medications and complications that arise from delayed medication and missed doses!

   Terrible service. Turned up twice for a paid flu jab and was sent away both times. First time they were “too busy” and told me to come after 11 a.m. Second time, they decided to go for lunch right when I arrived at 2 p.m. Absolutely ridiculous and a total waste of time. Avoid this place — staff are lazy and have no regard for customers.

   The people who work there are often friendly however I have been sent away each time without a particular medication for over a year now. The website says it’s open today and relatively busy (hours may vary) yet I have just been 10.30am Good Friday 2025 and it’s all in darkness closed. I don’t have any pain medication left and won’t get it until Tuesday even though I purposely requested it last Sunday via the app Monday. being the day of processing. They refused to deliver to me a few years ago because I’m not housebound, I used to have it delivered because they pestered me into it and then they had the nerve to take it away from us.. I’m disabled and have severe pain.. Thinking of moving to another chemist .. beyond a joke

   I urge you to find another pharmacy. I know it’s convenient in the village and near the surgery but I’ve been left without medication as it wasn’t given to me on payment, had a bag full of someone else’s medication left on my doorstep and the staff shouting out the details of my prescription for everyone to hear. No confidentiality. It’s causes me huge inconvenience and there are endless reviews of similar concerning incidents.

   Service has deteriorated since they moved into Globe Mill. Still can't fault the staff and the drivers are extremely helpful, but the opening hours are no where near as helpful and it's more difficult to get to. Also noticed prescriptions aren't getting processed/delivered as quickly as before. Have had to chase them up days afterwards.

   Since this chemist has opened, I have always had to queue for a minimum of 15 minutes. Is there an ongoing staffing issue? I went in today and ended up walking out without being served. Prior to the move to your current location, there was never any issue with waiting times.

   Absolutely disgusted by the attitude of the male chemist. I went in for some travel sickness tablets. This is my regular chemist for my prescription medication. I buy travel sickness tablets on occasion for travel but never from this chemists before. The chemist very loudly told me i shouldnt be buying them again. He treated me like some drug adled addict who he had seen on previous occasions. I have never used this chemist before for these tablets . Either he has a terrible memory for faces, has me confused with someone else or he shouldnt be dealing with the public. He was rude, embarrassing to me, unproffesional . My prescriptions now go online and never through Cohens in Slaithwaite. Will never use them again.

   Mainly here for prescriptions... not much stock of anything else. Parking very expensive. Check opening times! Opening times on Google maps have been updated recently as they certainly are not open until 8pm. Those opening times date back to when they were a genuine late night pharmacy on Carr Lane, now they're in the Globe Mill building on Bridge Street - also accessible from the canal towpath. It's probably better to get prescriptions delivered as there are often long queues. Staff helpful. Prescriptions filled accurately. They do the job they're here for very well, but a lot of people get used to pharmacies doing more... this one isn't like that.
