This place has really gone downhill compared to a few years ago. Whilst I don’t entirely blame the staff as they always seem to be understaffed and overworked the level of service is unacceptable. Blatant rudeness and a complete lack of awareness towards customers from some is simply not on. Staff also don’t appear to have even the most basic training in health and safety, or in their own company’s complaints procedures. The shift lead, in particular, seemed completely unprepared/couldn't be bothered to deal with a fairly straightforward request. On top of that, prices are not great and the quality of the food has noticeably declined. Although it’s still convenient, the quality just isn’t there anymore, pretty simple will just avoid in the future.

Recently moved to the area and have to say what an absolute difference my experience has been to my previous coop. Staff attitude absolutely sucks and woe betide anyone actually wanting to get served at the tills! The staff just walk past you to stack shelves after a few minutes you literally have to go and find someone to serve you. I won’t return, the spar shop down the road whilst less convenient is definitely more customer oriented, in fact you may as well just put a sign up telling your customers to eff off.

Staff are top notch. If it was solely based on that this review would be a 6 or 7 out of 5. They are dead friendly, always willing to help, just overall great people. My favourite energy drink is now more expensive hence the 4 out of 5 (and overall it's not the best value for money but damn the staff are actually that good.... I hope they get bonuses)

Generally quite a reasonable local convenience store but (like other Co-op stores) little evidence of staff training. Most staff are decent but one or two leave a lot to be desired when it comes to politeness. A smile and thank you cost nothing instead of bored and anti customer faces giving the impression that they had just had a row with their boyfriend/ girlfriend.

The shop is always clean, well lit, and has a good layout. The staff are all very polite and helpful. They do the company proud. If I was to be picky it would be the far too frequent audio instructions from the self service checkout. You can hear them all around the shop. Another compliment to the staff in that the noise doesn't drive them bonkers.

One staff member in particular is terrible to deal with and incredibly rude. Samina treats elderly people and those who need some additional assistance with utter contempt and rolls her eyes constantly. I witnessed it personally this week and was so appalled I went back to the store and raised an issue about her with management. They said they were already reviewing her given her attitude and the following day she strikes again... just walks away from people at the tills. She clearly doesnt want to be there and treats people accordingly. Such a shame because everyone else in the store are lovley and friendly.

My mum (I'm a border collie by the way) gets our cheese from here. I love cheese and the Co-op cheese is woofin'. It's a great shop for the local community. All the best to the staff and customers - Love from Barney sheepdog xx

Really good and friendly staff. Only a small shop but has a huge amount of different items for sale. Fruit and vegetables were good and well stocked. Plenty of choice in the fridges and freezers also the choice of wines was fantastic. All the essentials for your shopping and lots more. Staff were so helpful and friendly was a great place to shop. Will definitely visit again. Parking is available but a bit difficult to get in and out.
