The new staff is really rude.I was in a morning with my son wich is autistic nonverbal to buy toys and he doesn't understand to much and he start playing with a chic roll on the till and the lady start be pissed off because he is not moving faster and he just playing and is a queue(3 people in the back) and l just want to say l told him:please moving faster more then 3 times. All the check and payments l think was about 5 minutes,no more then that.So l just say B&M please when you hire people make sure they respect people because never knows what is in the back off that person. No all the people shows disabilities.I am really upset. And to the people in the queue l just want to apologise if you are waiting to much because of my son.

Queue and wait times at the tills are always completely unreasonable in this store. There is often only 1 till open, with a slow cashier, which is always congested with people trying to buy a high volume of items. As such this means customers who wish to buy a smaller number of items, or want a quick in and out experience, are held with unreasonable waits. On my last two visits I have had to abandon my shop due to crippling queues lenghts to check out. Frankly it is poor that a branch like this does not offer self checkouts to alleviate this issue in 2025. Therefore this score reflects a failure to provide a reasonable level of service with effective check outs.

The store is small but lady named Camel (if I read her name correctly) is also small hearted. Looks she is not happy with what job she is doing there. First she ignored me when I tried to draw her attention when I said excuse me. 2nd time she responded but even didn't bother to look at me. After sometime asked her if store has unibond aero 360 and she immediately said no we don't sell that. However I was able to figure it out in the same till. Then she passed while I was checking unibond aero 360. She noticed she lied or she realised she don't know what store has or not. If you don't know what store has or not, how can customer expect to know. Customer will always ask if they are not able to find what they want in any scattered store. Staff should not show such possible racism however. If you have to work on Sunday that is your problem don't try to wrap your day without helping customers. Date 29th Sept 2024 time 11.45 AM around.

Staff on tills always very polite, good prices on most products, though have often found the stationery selection to be overpriced and not much of a variety. Shelves seem to be regularly stocked up. Overall, good value for money, good variety of products, enjoy going in to see what new products they have

Very good for bargains. Cheap, with large stock of every day items. Aslies are a bit narrow and can be difficult to find what you are looking for. Staff very helpful. Would be difficult getting around aslie with prams, large shopping bags or mobile wheeled devices. Otherwise a good place for browsing and purchases. Can be some large cues at checkouts, but worth the wait. Definitely worth a look. Situated at walnuts centre.

The store is huge and the prices are excellent. There is 3 hrs free parking at sainsbury nearby. The store has many decorative household items, gardening items, cleaning items and alot of confectionery items priced very competitively in todays inflationary market.

Unfortunately, recent visits to the store have been disappointing. The availability of food is reducing and prices are now very close to say Tesco. There is no point going if you then need to go to tesco for the rest of your shop. Looks to me as all the retailers are making huge profits from the 'cost of living crisis'. Baked beans £1.20 a tin. Come on! There were a lot of people in the Isles debating which tea to buy and which one gave the best value. Terrible situation.

Trying to squeeze a store like this into such a small unit is foolish. The aisles are too small and crowded to easily navigate the store. During busy times it is notably claustrophobic and takes a considerable effort to leave the store. I would not want to see an emergency during these busy times. A good value store with polite, pleasant staff that are doing their best in a difficult situation. Relocate within the town to a larger store. You would greatly increase trade, be able to create more jobs and would receive five stars. I won't be the only customer that has given up and left because the cramped conditions make it too unpleasant to stay.
