   Great space & plenty of play opportunities. However, I have noticed some surfaces & equipment for example the baby bouncers are sticky & very grimy. Every time we visit my children are always ill. I have now come to realise it is probably because of this play area. They both also have had Scarlett fever which I believe was from attending.

   ⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointed Family Experience at DJ Play Berkhamsted We visited DJ Play in Berkhamsted yesterday with our 2-year-old son, our baby, and grandma arriving around 4 pm. We paid £34 for entry, which felt quite steep, but we were happy to let the little ones have some fun. Unfortunately, the experience turned disappointing. After about an hour of play, my son got hungry when he saw other families eating chips and pizza. When I went to order some food for him, I was told that the last hot food orders had been taken 15 minutes earlier. It was only around 5 pm, and with young children in mind, I would have expected hot food to be available a bit later in the afternoon — especially at a place aimed at families with small kids. It was frustrating trying to calm a hungry toddler surrounded by the smell of food we couldn’t buy. For the price we paid, I really expected better communication or at least a heads-up when we arrived that the kitchen would close so early. Overall, the play area itself was fine, but the poor food service and lack of consideration for families’ needs left us disappointed. We won’t be rushing back.

   Really nice soft play catering for all ages. Free car park make sure to give your reg at the desk. Lots of seats for adults and a cafe. Dropped a star because you have to pay for adults which is ridiculously. Why not say if you buy a drink from the cafe adults are free. This is the case in other soft plays. I bought 2 cups of tea when I was there plus paid for entry, it puts me off going again.

   Keep shutting the kitchen very early (was 4:25pm today). They also don’t announce that it’s closing early - that’d cause far too much work… Place just seems to me missing a manager that helps maintain standards.

   Friendly staff, reasonably priced & nice little cafe. Available for birthday parties in a separate upstairs area. Separate areas specific to age group, but kids just go where they please. You wonder how it all gets cleaned though ...

   Just had a birthday party at DJs in Berkhamsted. All the kids had a fab time. Food was as expected, sandwiches, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks, breadsticks, houmous amongst other snacks. Ice cream. Our party host Abby was most helpful to make it a stress free party. Only negative would be the toilets. The floors were very wet with what I hope was water so could have been cleaner.

   What a wonderful place this is! I was sceptical when booking as entry was so cheap compared to other places. But the centre is great. Attentive staff, clean, secure with a good size play area. Suitable for all ages.

   Held a birthday party here yesterday and it was great. Dulcie, our host, could not have been more helpful, all the staff were really friendly, everything was clean and in good condition and the children had a great time.
