We recently celebrated our son’s birthday at Wacky Kingdom Soft Play and had booked a Gold Party. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The manager and all the staff were absolutely amazing β€” friendly, organised, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make the day special and memorable for our son, and we couldn’t have asked for a better party experience. The soft play itself is brilliant, clean, and well run. We are regular visitors and have always had positive experiences here, which is why we chose it for such an important occasion.

Upon arriving at Wacky Kingdom Kingston today as a family of six, we were met with an unexpectedly hostile and unprofessional reception experience. The staff member on duty, Kate, was extremely rude, blunt, and dismissive from the outset β€” behaviour that was frankly shocking to witness in front of families and children. There is no clear or visible reception counter, as the entire entrance area is obstructed by Christmas decorations. This makes it impossible for first-time visitors to know where or how to check in. We will be attaching a photo to demonstrate this clearly. When we approached the gate to ask how to proceed and offered to pay immediately (as we had no prior booking), we were spoken to in a condescending and accusatory manner, being told we β€œcan’t just open the gate” and that children might run out. At the time, there were no children anywhere near the entrance, and the suggestion was both unreasonable and unnecessary. What makes this even more concerning is that after we entered, the reception area was left completely unattended on multiple occasions, with customers freely coming and going. No staff present, no supervision β€” meaning children could have run out and no one would have known who had paid or not. This directly contradicts the justification used to speak to us so disrespectfully. The issue here is not policy β€” it is attitude, poor customer handling, and inconsistent operational standards. A family venue should be welcoming, organised, and professionally managed. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite. As customers, we expect a basic level of courtesy, clarity, and accountability β€” none of which were demonstrated today. Very disappointing and not an experience we would recommend unless significant changes are made

Wacky Kingdom is fantastic! Right in the centre of Kingston, it’s super convenient and easy to get to. We’ve been to a few kids parties there and they’ve all been brilliant, really well organised with loads for the little ones to do. The play area is fun, and both my 3 year old and 7 year old love it. Highly recommend for parties or a fun day out!

I have been to wacky kingdom Kingston with my kids so many times and they have the absolute best time. It is a brilliant option for a fun activity with the kids especially in the colder months! My kids are 3 and 6 and there are plenty of play options for both. This is the place to go for endless fun! Staff are super welcoming and very friendly.

We went and I could not believe the lack of hygiene, the whole soft play stunk the minute I came in and had clearly not been cleaned properly in ages, the bin was overflowing in the disabled toilet and I would like to clarify I was there for the 9am first slot so there was no excuse for this. I have been to various softplays many times, I have never come across such a smelly unclean softplay. I would hate to think all the germs that are spread in these colder months where it is simply not cleaned. I can see this same complaint has also been mentioned months ago and clearly not addressed. The same night my son was sick all over his bed.

My daughter had her 10th birthday party at Wacky Kingdom Kingston and we would highly recommend. It was really easy to book online and I was contacted prior to the party to find out about dietary requirements etc. On the day the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a reserved table next to the the soft play area which was a great base for the party. The food boxes were great and the rolls were freshly made. My daughter had a blast!

Not great for parties. I Paid Β£25 for a princess mascot to present my daughters birthday cake, which was just a normal, working member of staff with a dress on, no wig or anything special for a child of 5 who adores Disney princesses and knows what they look like. This lady was not remotely close to what resembles Cinderella. The girl had brown hair and was just not bothered and didn't even engage with the party guests or birthday girl, but happily posed for photos with all the girls at the party. She later informed me that she gets made to do the dressing up all the time as no one else offers and was actually a nice girl so im not blaming her at all! The kids however were confused and somewhat upset when they saw the same lady returning to her duties. The children were given pizza, too much pizza for the number of children we had. I feel that this could have been partnered with chips or salad even. The kids didn't even hardly eat it. I asked to have the remainders put into a box to take home. The food then disappeared from our 'room' and I was told it was waiting for me downstairs. Little did I know that the pizza had been broken down, no doubt by hand judging by the mess created, and shoved into two children's snack boxes from the cafe and left OPEN for atleast 30 minutes. I didn't rush down as i assumed that it would have been placed into a suitable box and closed. I just couldn't believe it when I saw it just sitting there! They serve pizza but don't have actual pizza boxes which is shocking. The girls at reception where the pizza was sitting just laughed and shrugged it off when I questioned them about the pizza! Really not worth the money, couldn't help come out of there feeling really ripped off! Just not good enough for what they charge!!

Fabulous place! So much fun for our 5 year old. The thing I really appreciate this that this place is the perfect size; big enough for the kids so they have lots of fun and small enough parents so we can never lose track of our children. Staff are also very friendly and helpful, I have always had a good experience. Highly recommended.

I was super excited that there was a new soft play in Kingston and couldn't wait for it to open. However that excitement turned to absolutely horrid experience. Whilst visiting, I cut myself on one of the cable ties that they use to hold up 'plastics' that go around the pole. Cable ties definitely should not be used in a soft play where toddlers and babies go. Not only that but I noticed a whole in the netting where a kid could potentially fall through and a giant screw sticking out near the orange slide. When I injured myself by the cable ties, they did not even have a first aid kit or mark the accident in their report. A team member, I think, had to run to Boots to go get a box of plasters. The team was definitely inexperienced as they seemed to have been clueless as to where things were or what was happening. The ball pit is definitely a danger zone. Toddlers and babies definitely would love to play in the ball pit however the slide is located right there so who ever slides down, will definitely tackle whoever is sitting there. This happened on several occasion during my visit. The play frames are so low, suitable for kids however adults can struggle to go around these areas. Would never visit again unless all this has been changed but I hope other parents have better experiences.
