“Couldn't have asked for better service, food and accommodation for the weekend of my sister's wedding. Eanna and Lara were attentive and very professional. The venue was immaculate and everyone had a wonderful time. 10/10 would recommend the queen's head for wedding receptions!”
“The Canbury Arms on Canbury Park Road in Kingston upon Thames. A superb offering from the Young's stable. The service and interaction from and with the staff is from the top draw! A good offering from the keg, covering many tastes. There are also three cask ales on offer, including a couple from the Surrey Hills Brewery. A wonderful airy dining area and a couple of 'secret' patios. All great fun and lovely cold beer to boot. There is also a discreet, private dining area upstairs, ideal for business meetings, celebrations and the like. A must visit!!”

“This place changed hands recently (late 2023), so the previous photos and reviews are no longer relevant. It is still a Korean restaurant, now called Yami. It now has Korean BBQ, Sushi, Korean fried Chicken, Bibimbap etc. It does lack some dishes the old place had (no Gimbap or udon soups) but is still good food and inexpensive. £20 for half a fried chicken and Bibimbap.”
“Came in for lunch, which was really good and great price. Then found there was a shufl board and had fun playing. Half an hour for £8. Joey was really helpful and friendly. And was really good with all his customers.”
“I have been to wacky kingdom Kingston with my kids so many times and they have the absolute best time. It is a brilliant option for a fun activity with the kids especially in the colder months! My kids are 3 and 6 and there are plenty of play options for both. This is the place to go for endless fun! Staff are super welcoming and very friendly.”
“Wow, the most delicious feta mini quiche ever! What a find! So much to choose from beautifully presented sweet and savory produce too. Lovely smiling staff. A wonderful surprise find for morning coffee with "pastries". Good value for money and quick service. We ate in, relaxing at the window bar seating, happily watching the rain! Highly recommended ( take away available too). JM”
“Honestly hands down for another GREAT roast I’ve had in England. And the fact I got a table on the day was even more surprising. The pudding it’s the best I had so far!!! I can’t thank enough to the staff politeness.”
“The Mill is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. I'm a regular here for a reason—the coffee is perfect every time, and the menu has so many great options. The team is fantastic, especially Cali, who is always so lovely and provides exceptional service with a smile. It's the perfect place to meet friends, study, or just grab a quiet moment to yourself. I can't recommend it enough!”
“Chilli Cha Cha’s in Kingston Upon Thames Marketplace has excellent customer service and delicious, freshly cooked food to order in front of you. I love the pakoras and wouldn’t buy them anywhere else. The aromas are amazing and very enticing. Lovely owner and staff.”
“Great place for a quick meal. Foods are tasty at a good price. But you may have to have your food quickly when you dine in. Otherwise, the pigeons nearby may ask you to share your food with them LOL”
“The Norbiton in (funnily enough) Norbiton, east of Kingston. A lovely, shabby chic, corner pub with high ceilings and a very open family feel to it. A large dining area and a huge patio garden at the back of the house. Lovely staff with a good sense of humour. They are fast, efficient and friendly. A super, different place to visit, enjoy a drink and some simple pizza oriented dining. A most enjoyable visit, highly recommended.”
“Magic Oz went out of his way to provide our residents and staff with an unforgettable and personal afternoon experience. He was warm and friendly, understanding and engaging with our residents and left them with magical memories. Aside from a brilliant performance, Magic Oz was incredibly flexible with our booking and professional throughout. I would not hesitate in recommending booking Oz for any time or occasion to meet and exceed your hopes and expectations. Thank You Oz Surbiton Care Home”
“A diamond in Richmond. It's an old house based hotel renieuwd. Loverly employees how makes everything possible and make you feel home. Good room, nice breakfast en lovely dinner in the restaurant as well as the cafeteria. Delicious lins soup. They still working on the hotel. They're making it nicer, if this is possible.”
“It’s a beautiful little French cafe at Kingston. We had a chicken and garlic wrap and chicken & bacon wrap with a cappuccino. The portion was a good size and it tasted delicious. We also had a pistachio cheese cake slice, it was good too. They had a good selection of desserts. Everything is reasonably priced. You can sit outside with a coffee and just watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend this place.”
“Very nice pub. Good drinks. Great Greek food. Authentic gyros! Good bands play there too.”
“A little gem. Went here last night very friendly nice lady serving us we decided to have the Korean hot pot as we had never tried before and sounded really nice. We had to move tables as all are not equipped with heat for the hot pot but it wasn’t an issue. The food came quick and tasted absolutely delicious. On top of that it was pretty good value for money. A nice little place with nice staff and amazing food what more could you ask for. Will definitely be going back.”
“We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Pizza Express yesterday, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Ashley and Greg were absolutely amazing , truly wonderful people. Their service was exceptional: warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind from start to finish. They made the whole evening special for us, and thanks to them, we had an unforgettable night. This was honestly the best Pizza Express I’ve ever visited. We loved them and appreciated their positive energy so much. Highly recommend — Ashley and Greg made our visit perfect!”
“This is one of those pubs I've always wanted to go into but never quite plucked the courage to do so. Then once you're in, you wonder why you took so long. Tucked away behind a row of barbers, banks and takeaways, it survived the history destroying ring road creation that encases Kingston. It sticks out despite being hidden, as a building that doesn't quite belong in this part of town. The saloon type doors give way to the bar, a TV on opposite sides of the wall, there's a symmetry to the place, and you're spoiled for choice for where to go. You could people-watch at the right side, a prime spot, quite literally watching the world go by. Or you can go to the left, a favoured position of the locals, presumably due to the proximity to the jukebox, slot machine, toilets and "terrace". I perched on the corner of the bar, couple of pints of Fosters. Cash accepted, both pints south of a fiver. Unfortunately I'd missed the cut off for the sandwiches, genuinely gutted, few places offer this fine line between "pub snack" and "pub food". Intrigued by the need to specify the quality of the 50/50 bread. Sausage and onions will be the priority next time. They show all the football here, a worthy escape from the town centre to sneak in part or all of a game. That being said, I'd probably make a point of coming here specifically for the game. The pints are cheap, the staff are friendly, it's spacious and quiet. It has a predictability to it, a calmness, depending on your objective - whether it's many pints or recovery mode, this place could tick both boxes. Pubs like this are a dying breed, this one has even been knocked down and rebuilt further back (c.1950), had it not, the ringroad would've obliterated it. As so much of Kingston's history gets sold off to make luxury flats and questionably affordable housing, I don't think we'd ever get a say in the matter if this were to go. But I'm glad I've been now, and I'm looking forward to going back.”
“Apart from being a really nice gentleman, David is a great accountant. Im very quick getting my accounts together, and David turns them around in a week so I know exactly where I am early in the year. This enables me to plan my finances. I moved to David from a large firm of accountants about 3 years ago. Being a one man business, I always felt like I was a waste of their time. Quick in, quick out, no chat, followed by a hefty bill for not an awful lot. David is happy to answer questions throughout the year, and is able to explain complex issues in a clear and understandable way. He has been invaluable during the Coronavirus lockdown period. He even sent me a calculation of what I could claim under the SEISS scheme, together with instructions how to do it. Working for yourself is tough enough, but a really good accountant can make life so much easier. If you are looking for a new accountant, I would have no hesitation in recommending David.”
“Just had an excellent meal from Tasty Bite on Surbiton Road. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delivered quickly. I've tried their peri-peri grilled chicken with coloured rice , and they've both been fantastic. The staff is always friendly and generous especially (Hamidi), and it's a great spot for a delicious takeaway. They are open until 1:00 am. Highly recommend!"”
“Delicious and fast as i arrived early. Service needs a smile but apart from that very happy”
