   Brilliant photo booth service for my son’s 18th! We hired Animation Events to provide a photo booth for my son’s 18th birthday party and they were absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, the service was flawlessly executed – the setup was quick and professional, the booth itself was great quality, and it ran smoothly throughout the entire evening. The guests loved it and we ended up with some brilliant photos that really captured the spirit of the night. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone knew how to use it properly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Animation Events to anyone looking for a photo booth hire. They made organising this part of the party completely stress-free and delivered exactly what they promised. Well worth it!

   We hired Animation Events for our wedding reception and booked their Magic Mirror. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. - Technical Issues All Night: Guests told us the Magic Mirror wasn’t working for most of the evening. When my husband and I tried to use it, it failed again. Darren, the staff member present, casually said, “It of course happens when the bride and groom are here,” implying it was a one-off. We later found out it had been malfunctioning all night. - Poor Print Quality: The few prints that did come out were of very poor quality, blurry, dull, and disappointing. Even the digital downloads were of poor quality. - No Accountability: I raised a complaint with Darren after the event and received no response. No apology, no explanation, no effort to make things right. - Unprepared Equipment: Several of our guests work in IT and even tried to help troubleshoot. They all agreed the equipment hadn’t been properly tested before arriving at the venue. It's poor our guests had to even help instead of enjoying their night. - False Reputation?: I’m genuinely confused how this company has 5-star reviews. Our experience was far from it. We were really looking forward to this feature at our reception, and it was frustrating to see it fail so badly, especially with no follow-up or resolution. I would not recommend Animation Events to anyone. Our guest book also has about 4 photos inside which shows the magic mirror was not used and seeing a huge queue for it. Avoid this company at all costs.

   We used Animation Events for their Photo Booth and it was FABULOUS! They were absolutely brilliant setting it up, all the props were fab and it was a brilliant addition to our wedding! So helpful and a really fun thing to have! Everyone loved it! From the start, the booking process was so smooth and seamless and the whole set up and take down was just great! Can’t recommend them enough!

   We used Animation events for our Selfie mirror and “LOVE” LED sign for our wedding night. The LOVE sign created lovely photos but I must say…. The Selfie mirror was the talk of the town. Darren was there throughout the night to make sure the mirror was running smoothly and was showing our guests how the mirror worked. Darren was very supportive to us and wanted to make sure the photos was memorable but also the key feature we liked about using animation events are you get the option to keep all the photos taken digitally and there was also a feature where they can supply an album where the guests can stick the instant print photos, space to write some words and then we have the album so we can look back at them forever. Pricing was reasonable and I would consider looking at Animation Events first.

   Thank you Darren for providing an excellent service at our wedding last year. We used the Magic Mirror photobooth option as our venue was quite small, and the quality was excellent. Darren made the whole process easy, all set up on time, and made sure our guests signed the photobook. I highly recommend!

   We booked before covid, and Animation Events were great at helping to rearrange alongside our multiple date changes! I didnt have to worry about a thing on the day, we had the Mr&Mrs letters which looked amazing and made the whole room light up, as well as the large magic mirror photobooth which everyone loved. Scott the operator was lovely and ensured all our guests managed to get great shots on the mirror! I'd highly recommend animation events to anyone considering having a magic mirror, as everyone loved it!
