“I was devastated when my dog broke his leg one late evening. Worried and anxious, I contacted Ctvet first thing in the morning and left a voicemail, hoping for a prompt response. To my relief, they called us back as soon as they opened. When we arrived at the clinic, Stefano greeted us with warmth and understanding, which immediately put my mind at ease. He quickly gave my dog an injection to relieve his pain and took the time to explain the treatment plan, reassuring me that he was in good hands. The next morning, my dog was scheduled for orthopaedic surgery. It was difficult to leave him at the clinic overnight, but I knew he was getting the best possible care. When I returned to pick him up in the evening, I was overjoyed to see him happy and playful, albeit slightly tired from the sedation. Martina thoroughly explained each medication and provided helpful leaflets for at-home care, which increased my peace of mind. I am sincerely grateful for everyone's compassion and professionalism at Ctvet. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pets and wants them to receive the best possible care.”

“I found this little place almost by chance-and I just LOVED it. The food was amazing (price was also very low and portions enormous!), the perfect balance between spice and sour (I had their fermented flat bread with 3 different daals and 2 veggie sides). The owner is the sweetest person ever and it is more than clear that this is not a job for him, but a passion. The place is tiny (which is a pro-makes it cozier!) and super welcoming, with decor that makes you truly feel jumping into the Ethiopian culture! They offered me their typical spice tea: a must have! Just a very lovely experience, absolutely recommended if you love simple and authentic things.”

“Adding more context as it is deserved: The team at Vet4life are fantastic every time we go there with our tripod rescue cat. The practice is always immaculately clean (not easy when you handle animals), the staff are wonderfully friendly and professional and every time we have a question, we're given an answer with patience, understanding and elaboration where needed. In short, it's no surprise its such a popular vet for the area and I would thoroughly recommend using them (special shout out to Jenny - our cat's favourite)”

“My dog hurt his left back leg jumping off a small wall, My local branch was closed so I was redirected to the Dartford branch, which offers a 24hour service. the vet checked his leg nothing broken so I was given anti inflamatory medicine. I was very happy with the service I received.”

“Came for a viewing beforehand and I honestly wasn’t too sure, mainly with the length of time they’re alone overnight without access to outside - it seems like this might be standard practice in kennels though. BUT, it seems like he had a good time. It was my first time boarding my 8.5 year old dog (he’s done daycare and stayed overnight with sitters, just not kennels before). He ate his food which was a surprise, but a good sign. I chose Haytor because of the ability for him to play with other dogs. My dog is nervous with new people, but he gains confidence around other dogs. The drop off felt quite like I was being rushed a bit, but this could just be because they’re aiming to spend as much time as possible with the dogs. It would be great to see photos of them whilst there, through Instagram stories for example (although it seems super busy so that might not be possible). I emailed to check on him in the afternoon and got a response the following morning, which was fine. An option to drop off at the daycare time, if your dog is social, would be great too instead of just 10-12 or 2-5! Especially on a Saturday overnight as you do end up paying for two days for around 24 hours as there are no afternoon pickups on a Sunday, so a single sat to sun overnight comes out quite expensive that way, though I understand different kennels have different booking setups. Overall, my dog came back happy, he ate and although very glad to see me, didn’t seem too bothered by his stay. Would recommend to anyone who feels their dog would benefit in a kennel environment from having other dogs around them! Will use Haytor kennels again for my dog. Thanks for taking care of my boy! :)”

Having tried others I have always felt relaxed when he is out with them because the dogs come first, rather than simply rounding up as many dogs as possible! “I was referred to Medivet Kensington when my current 22 year old cat Frankie when was in heart failure. Not only did they save Frankie that day – he remains thriving under Vet Tom Roberts care. Tom is an outstanding Vet, combining expertise with genuine care for your pet. Frankie's medications are easily managed, minimising stress from frequent reviews for his fragile heart. The focus on his overall well-being significantly enhances his care. Tom goes above and beyond which is much appreciated by both Frankie and myself. Recently my 4-year-old dog had orthopeadic surgery for a luxating patella and was under the care of the amazing Surgeon Vishaal Corpaul (VK). Six months post-op, she’s back to bouncing around like a puppy. The surgery was a huge success and the whole experience was stress-free thanks to an excellent Surgeon, consistent post-op care, and dedicated Vet support during recovery. I cannot thank Dr VK enough. There remains consistency in the staff, rather than a frequent rotation of temporary Vets. I regularly see the same Vet, and they are familiar with my pets, which helps foster good relationships, with both us humans and animals – which is a huge bonus. Thanks also to the wonderful Vet Nurses here and friendly helpful Receptionists. As a Vet customer who has been involved in animal rescue for many years and been to numerous Vet Practices all over London - I wanted to review this exceptional practice to reassure pet owners seeking quality care. Really excited to see the newly refurbished practice soon with dedicated seperate areas for the cats.”
