The Natural History Museum is one of the most impressive and fascinating museums in London. The building itself is stunning and feels almost like a landmark on its own, making the visit special from the moment you arrive. Inside, the exhibitions are engaging, educational and beautifully presented, with highlights like the dinosaur gallery that are truly unforgettable. I felt like Ross Geller from Friends the entire time hahaha. It’s well organized, easy to explore and free to enter, which makes it even better. A perfect place to spend a few hours learning, exploring and enjoying one of London’s most iconic museums. Not as crowded as one would think since it is so famous. There are plenty of interactive displays and detailed explanations that make complex topics easy to understand and interesting. It’s a great option whether you’re traveling solo, with friends or family, and it’s especially good for a relaxed visit on a rainy day.

Beautiful interior and exterior. My kids had a blast exploring the museum while adults chilled at the cafe. They loved the dinosaurs exhibit which is the main attraction So thankful we pre booked! As we came on a weekend, there was a q to enter from the entrance up to the train station exit, even for those who booked in advance, as many walk ins. Only right at the end were we allowed to walk in without queuing. Cafe was v crowded at lunch time but fast turnaround.

Reservation highly recommended for no waiting. One of London's free museums. If you only have time to visit one, I recommend this one. The museum traces history through several areas: dinosaurs, aquatic life, volcanoes... and has several nice souvenir shops inside. It's clean and exciting to explore.

The museum is well-maintained and full of interesting collections. Natural History Museum in London and was truly impressed. The building itself is stunning with its grand architecture and detailed interior. The dinosaur and gemstone exhibits were fascinating and well-organized. I especially enjoyed the interactive sections that make learning fun for both kids and adults. Spending few hours here may not enough. I recommend booking paid tickets for elderly visitors.

Always love going to museums where ever I go to take in the local perspective. It is free entry with donation recommended, which is easy once you see what this place has to offer. This would have been one of the larger sites I have visited in my travels. It has a large variety of collections spanning several floors. I really enjoyed most of the galleries I saw, with their interactive displays that complement the static representations. We literally spent all afternoon their until close and still didn't get a chance to see the whole building. Missing out on the Darwin, and some of the green sector. From what we did see the rest of the place would be just as amazing. Since it's free entry it can definitely be a 2 day walk about. The place is large and requires a bit of sauntering. There are lots of benches and presentations that you can sit while you watch. Which is nice for those who have mobility challenges. Overall, a great visit but if you really like to hit every inch, it's a whole day visit so keep that in mind.

An impressive place, the museum is enormous and you cannot see everything in a couple of hours. My recommendation is to look at the map and select in advance the exhibits that are most appealing to you. The highly popular dinosaur’s exhibit is located at the ground floor and can be busy. I especially like the Earth Treasure’s gallery with magnificent rocks and gems. You can buy the museum activity book for 5p that includes a map and nice explanations and tasks for kids.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Magnificent collections of fossils and bones of dinosaurs and other animals that is been extinct. They have lots of collections of precious natural stones from around the world and even meteorites. You need a whole day to really explore this area. One of the good thing about this museum is free. No Entrance fee needed. But if you like to give donations depends on you.

We've always wanted to visit the Natural History Museum and finally got the chance to go this year. Based in South Kensington, it was fairly easy to plan travel to the location of the museum. We went on a Friday during the summer holidays and it was pretty busy but we were able to get round the museum with ease and look at all that we wanted to. It was free to enter and we had no waiting time but we were told by friend to book tickets online anyway so you have a slot time for your visit. Our main area of interest was the Jurassic era so seeing real dinosaur bones and preserved fossils was pretty amazing. We even got to see Dippy the Dinosaur that is currently at the museum for a limited time. Lots of great history and facts on earth and wildlife. Really enjoyed it. Its free to enter and all they ask for is donations towards keeping it open. The only downside I personally experienced was that I bought a salad from one of the on site Cafes and about 20 minutes after eating it, it repeated on me and I spent about 15 minutes in the loos being sick. My top tip would be to eat before you attend, take snacks and a bottle of water to stay hydrated. It got pretty hot in some of the rooms so be prepared.

Another wonderful museum in London! A place to spend a whole day! Astonishing architecture, wonderful collections, kids-friendly place, nice souvenir shops. I found the dinosaur and minerals collections especially fascinating! The curators have done their job brilliantly! The part on volcanoes was really helpful and insightful!
