   Perfect venue for my three-year-old’s birthday party. We had the studio which had children’s books all around the walls and was well equipped with tables, chairs, a big rug and beanbags as well as a speaker system. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Many people commented on how nice the venue was and how clean and modern it was. A minor point to make the experience even better - It got very hot with so many kids running around even with the Aircon on.

   Hackney Showroom was the best possible place to celebrate my 80th birthday. The big room was just right for my guests to sit down and enjoy a meal, and when the tables were cleared it provided an excellent space for dancing. The staff ensured everything went smoothly and i would recommend it heartily.

   We had such a wonderful first birthday party in the BIG SPACE. The set up, and break down was quick and straightforward. Menekse supported us on the day and she was kind, helpful and the communication was great throughout with subtle time hints. The set up was easy to organise, clean and we were easily able to add a couple finishing touches to the space to match our theme. Would highly recommend and a brilliant price. Thank you HS!! Xx

   An incredibly warm and welcoming environment. We delivered two events at Hackney Showroom which provided style support for marginalised communities. Hackney Showroom had very clear communication and streamlined booking processes, very friendly event staff and a diligent social media team that helped us promote the event. The site itself is fully accessible, it was very clean and accommodating and quite varied with different rooms to book. We had a very thorough safety induction beforehand with a very kind and helpful staff member to support us throughout the day. We highly recommend this venue to host a community event and we will be using their services again. Thank you!

   This place is what Hackney is / was all about: happening, slightly raw but innovative and in a great location close to Hackney Downs park ( see my review). Lots of different events; vegan beer fest, food and all over fun for all. I enjoy the site which contains a cycle shop, restaurants and studios for artists. Thumbs up!

   Was organising a prom and thought the venue looked nice and spacious. Got in contact with the manager, Sam, and after some weeks of negotiation and planning, I was told that they'd already pencilled in an event on the day that I had previously secured with the manager. So it seems as though communication is very poor between him and his assistant, or they just wanted to lead us on for fun. Now it's just over a month until the prom and we still don't have a venue - thank you!

   Versatile space that disappointed and amazed me. I visited this place a couple of times for the Fringe Fest and got off to a bad start as very staff member my partner and I talked to were a little dismissive and not very helpful. Taking into consideration that most of the staff members my partner and I spoke to were volunteers who without the festival would not have been possible gives me some empathy for the difficult job they had but it's still a shame. Thankfully my evening got much, much better later on with short films, live performance and a club night. I left the venue on such a high and returned to the showroom the next day for another event.
