Stayed in the Dairy for three nights visiting family and old haunts. Perfect for a couple. Cosy and secluded, proper middle of nowhere stuff.

The Dairy was a wonderful place to stay! Perfectly sized and set out for solo or a couple. Private, you wouldn't know there are other units around, but this would be a great place for a stay that needed a number of separate spaces. Convenient for WWT Martin Mere (less than an hour walk if you're so inclined). Although not needed, parking space was fine and safe. Truly everything you'd need for a short (or longer) stay.

Albeit out of the way, we found this a great stay. The hostess was super friendly & helpful & the cottage was clean & well presented for a great price for the 2 nights we stayed.

The host is very kind and hospitable. The house is clean, bright and comfortable, giving people a homely feeling. There is another camping site at the back which is highly recommended.

Very relaxed and friendly concerned about only one ladies toilet but never had to queue so no problem and kept immaculate clean. Would recommend to friends looking for a rural get away

Stunning! Gorgeous countryside and lovely walks. Great pub nearby and amenities close but not too close. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Immaculately clean and well presented. A little piece of paradise. LOVE it!

This place was perfect. It is relatively cheap considering what you get for your money. The service was exceptional and the owners could not do more for us. We stayed in the granary and it was really nice and cosy. So much space and even the big window looking out into the wild could not bring the temperature down. Bedrooms had ample storage and comfy beds. Family bathroom was well equipped separate shower and bath. Open plan dining kitchen lounge flowed very well. There was toys for my 5 year old to play with and the tv had smart capability when needed for the days in. There is the option for fresh eggs for very low cost. The day before departure the owner just popped by to say we could have late late check out as they had no one else coming that day, no prompting from us she just thought it would be helpful. Thee are beautiful walks nearby and a few pubs not too far a walk away. If I ever find myself in the area again I will not hesitate to make this the base for my operations.

We stayed in the stable for 3 nights recently. Possibly the best well equipped holiday home we have stayed in. (Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker etc) walk in shower in the main bedroom and handles for anyone who has problems with stability. Decor is a little tired but the house was clean and comfortable. The owner even sent some sunglasses we had left behind which we where grateful for. If your planning on staying in the area I would highly recommend staying here.
