Excellent all round. The only disappointment was that breakfast did not open until 8am and we had to be at a training course near Liverpool by 8.30am so we had to rush and no time to enjoy the variety of food on offer.

Its a long way from Liverpool city centre - the best way was the bus directly opoosite the hotel but it took between 45 minutes and 1 hour 10mins depending on traffic. Otherwise great - really friendly.

Booked a long weekend with my hubby. Received a lovely friendly welcome from Lindsay, on reception, when we arrived. In fact ALL the members of staff we had interaction with were lovely. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, but very "tired" in places. Our twin room was good, everything spotless, with everything we needed. The beds comfortable. The room temperature ideal. We slept well each night. We ate at the Greene King pub restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Again, the staff were friendly, pleasant and efficient. Hubby had the gammon, I had the steak pie on our first evening, our booking arranged by Lindsay on our arrival on the Friday. The food was delicious. The service, spot on. We'd booked breakfast for each morning we were there. A good selection of fruit, cereal and pastries available as well as a full English, perfectly cooked, which set us up each day. Our only bug-bear was that hot water for tea and coffee wasn't hot enough for us, as it came from a "flask", but that was our only complaint. Another "bonus" for us was that we could catch a bus into Liverpool from the bus stop opposite the hotel, rather than driving into the city. We enjoyed our visit to the museum, spending a good few hours in there - plus there was no entrance fee! Well worth a visit. Such amazing, interesting exhibitions and the cafe was lovely too. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good as Storm Amy was battering the area during our visit, which restricted our plans to visit the Maritime Museum and take a ferry across the Mersey. We'll just have to make a return visit in the future, when hopefully the weather will be better. All in all, a lovely few days away.

Stayed here to attend a local charity fundraiser. One of the better PIs we've stayed in... rooms clean and comfortable as expected and easy to find off the M53. We did not eat so cannot comment about breakfast.

I just wanted to praise the friendly and welcoming staff who work here on reception, they can never do enough for you. After a very long drive and a late arrival the kind lady on reception had already closed my bedroom curtains and turned on a bedside lamp for me. Small gestures, which make such a difference.

Used it to go and visit family. So was good location for us. Clean and comfortable rooms and good pub for food and drink next door.

Great value for your money. The building seems fairly old with creaking stairs and a narrow staircase, but you are unlikely to hear any of that in your room as sections are soundproofed to ensure a great nights sleep. Both times I have stayed here the room was cleaned to a high standard (although some strong scented cologne seemed to have remained in the bathroom after checking in one day), and the staff were spectacular - offering to carry bags, suggest restaurants and provide assistance at every hour. The Greavesbury Inn next door is also lovely but make sure to book tables in advance if you are staying in a busy holiday season. The only real downside to the place is the WiFi is pretty poor, so don’t expect to be doing anything remotely requiring a good connection. Although that is pretty typical for Premier Inns generally. YouTube for example is a no-go unless you upgrade your WiFi in the room for an additional charge.

Nice clean hotel. Lovely staff. Had one of the best night's sleep I've ever had at any premier inn I've stayed at.
