Just back from a one night stay here with family. We had the family room which was so spacious, beautiful big windows and comfy beds. Great location from a friendly pub 50 yards away with great food and great location from the centre. Will definitely return in the near future.

One night only. A warm & friendly welcome right from the start. The room was modern, clean & I had a lovely nights sleep. Breakfast was amazing & has filled me up for the day. It was definitely worth the visit & will be sure to stay here again next time.

Recently stayed for two nights with my 11 year old, the room was lovely, nice and clean, lovely bay windows and good size. However, the owners were over powering and privacy was lacking. I felt we couldn’t leave or return without being questioned or commented on. We stayed in the room above the lounge area, whilst we were in our room my som sneezed and ran to the bathroom to get some tissue, as we were heading out shortly after, Gary mentioned the chandelier shook and looked irritated by this. This room is a family room with a king size bed and 2 singles, i can only imagine how the chandelier shakes if 2 children are playing. Maybe take the chandelier down and let people relax. Friendly hosts but just too much, felt like I couldn’t relax and they’ve got to remember people are on holiday, they don’t want to feel their every move is being watched or questioned. Breakfast was average not a great selection. My son has allergies which I made them aware of before booking and he couldn’t eat most of it so stuck to bacon and toast. Small portions and was made to feel uncomfortable asking for some toast. Towels were like sandpaper and had stains on them. It’s a shame because the room was lovely and I enjoyed keeping it tidy and nice but the stay was let down by not being able to relax by comments being made. Maybe leave people too it and let them come and go as they please without question and being watched from the lounge. Location- perfect.

First time we've stayed at Le Maitre it was only for one night, but I would highly recommend it. Gary came out greeted us with a lovely warm welcome, carried our bags up to our room. Shirley was just as welcoming running us through breakfast and times available then showed us to our room. The room was spacious spotlessly clean with plenty of storage, well stocked hospitality tray and complimentary toiletries. Bed was so comfortable we had a great nights sleep. Shower was powerful, plenty of running hot water. Breakfast was absolutely delicious hot and really good produce used. There was plenty on offer cereal, fruit salad, fruit juice, full English breakfast, scrambled eggs 'n' smoked salmon, toast tea/coffee. The location is near to shops, bars, cafes, beach. Oh forgot to mentioned parking at the front of the B&B.

Superb. Shirley and Gary were excellent hosts. Couldn't do enough, hard workers! ( They told us they were really disappointed and upset someone had recently given them their only bad review - but the 'lady' in question didn't mention she had been thrown out after setting the fire alarm off in the middle of the night, and was then found to have 3 men staying in her single room!!!!!! - but one bad and many, many fantastic reviews speaks for itself ! Well done Shirley and Gary, from Andrea and Andy, Yorkshire.

A really friendly guest house. Rooms have everything you need. Given 4 stars as we were in ground floor room with no view. Breakfast was great. Fabulous tasty local sausages, good bacon and good bright yolk eggs. Also orange juice and fresh fruit salad included. Best hotel breakfast I've had for ages.
