   Recently bought a house that was sold by them. They themselves weren’t too bad. Nothing outstanding though. Was told sale would be 16 weeks but ended up more than 5 months. Post covid speed I guess. But they recommended a solicitor to me. First of all I wasn’t told that there was a charge for this. ( was added to my final bill) Secondly the solicitors ( tickle, hall, cross in St Helens) they recommended were hopeless. Never any replies to emails. No one ever answers the phone. You never know if what you ask to get done is being done. If you drop off documents you don’t hear back til days or months later that your documents are insufficient. You have to do all the chasing yourself Definitely find your own solicitors
