Like anything healthcare related in the UK…If you have the means to go privately do it. Appointments are once every full moon and when planets and stars align. Walk ins are frustratingly inconvenient something like 8:30-9:00 am Monday to Friday except Thursdays and Wednesday. God forbid If you arrive at 8:31 “well we can’t accommodate more than 17 patients in a day…But before you go fill out our stupid forms so the NHS thinks we’re meeting quotas…Gee I wonder why STIs are on the rise in London and surrounding areas…could it be these horribly inconvenient sexual health clinics? Nah prolly not”…Bottom line go private beats missing work and jumping through impossible hoops and nonsense.

I had to go here for the walk in session for a urgent Mirena coil check as my GP was concerned it had dislodged . I was extremely nervous but the reception staff were so completely wonderful, kind and professional that I was immediately at ease. I arrived at 8.20am to queue outside. They let us in at 8.45 and started seeing people at 9am. I was seen 5th and there were at least 2 nurses working. There were at least 30 people waiting by the time I was seen at 9.30am. Be early if you want to be seen at all. My whole experience lasted an hour and a half with my issue being completely resolved, no more pain, great advice and my mind at rest.

I cannot praise the reception staff and the nurses enough at this clinic. The minute you walk in to reception, all the ladies are polite, friendly and very helpful! If only all medical places were as nice. Keep up the great work!

Very professional. I could't make it to my GP appointment due to cancelled trains and they were able to book me an appointment for the next day. I had my implant renewed and it only took 15min. They staff was very friendly and helpful, as they always are. Very happy wity the service.

I was worried about wait times for my appointments here, but the reception and clinical staff went above and beyond to schedule me in and make me feel at ease. Emma A and the reception staff are so personable and caring. Their level of service and the facilities could be mistaken for private health care - thank you!

They’re very kind here and professional, throughout lockdown I have been allowed company as don’t do well with needles without company and they have been great! Definitely recommend this clinic. Joyce is very comforting and goes above and beyond.

Originally came for a coil removal but I was convinced by the doctor to keep it in...(think she couldn't be bothered to remove it). Came back again about a month later but they were short staffed so was told I wouldnt be able to have it removed today & then sent to Hemel Hempstead clinic monday walkin service. Only to find that the Hemel clinic has been closed down for renovation for 4months. I have today come back to Watford only to be sitting here for over 2 hours I have sat and watched literally everyone go in and be seen. I was number 19 but somehow number 25 has gone and left and I'm still sitting here. Very bizarre!
