I've been coming to the eastfield since it was Charlie Chalks. From working here as a teen to now coming with my family 15 years later. I've never had a bad meal, it's very well priced to other options. A small cohort of staff who have been a familiar face the whole time too. 10/10 would recommend.

We went out for lunch with a couple of friends on Friday 26 September. Two of us had the seasoned salmon and two had the tomahawk steak. We all agreed that the food was absolutely delicious and piping hot. Our waiter, Nathan, was very pleasant and obliging. Just one thing I should point out is that we had to go hunting for cutlery and napkins. We had reserved a table for four, but there were only three forks, two knives and one napkin on our table.

Ordered two meals both were excellent. They serve the best burger anywhere. The actual product delivered was better than the publicity photo, and that's unheard of. Defo 10*

Not too busy. Walked in and was advised we could sit anywhere we please. Drinks came quickly enough. Starters followed then mains. We ordered puddings after. Never waited too long. All food was hot, good portions and tasty. Will deffo visit again. Staff were pleasant and prices were reasonable.

We went for breakfast this morning and it was the worst breakfast I have had in any establishment for a while. I had a sizzling breakfast that they must of started sizzling everything but the mushrooms last week! The sausages were black burnt. The eggs were so overdone. The beans were dry and the toast rock hard. The mushrooms were underdone. Safe to say we will not be returning. It wasn't busy so there is no excuse for such poor food and service. What we did eat made us feel sick. It was very poor. I won't be wasting my money twice.

Visited for breakfast mid week during half term, having called ahead to check what time it was served until, call answered quickly and the woman was polite on the phone. We arrived and decided where to sit, I went to the bar to order, had a little wait but someone shouted that they'd not be long. Served by a friendly young woman and not long after, our food was brought out. Two lovely women brought cutlery and food, everything was cooked well and we really enjoyed it. It's been several years since I've been as I remember the food being really bad, but breakfast was great this time and service excellent. The only negative is the table felt sticky and the chairs had holes and tears in them, these really could do with replacing.

In fact I am not even going to leave any stars, walked in at 18:26 and ordered 2 meals, was told 45 mins wait after I had paid, yet at 19:55 my dinner turned up. I expected it being on a skillet being a mixed grill, no it was on a normal plate along with the hunters chicken as well on a plate, I know it was busy but had I been told about the wait before I probably not stopped. Tables had been cleaned but were sticky. Now the food, well for a mixed grill the chips were from frozen the steak was half pink and other half well done, I wanted well done, it was so chewie that went to the doggy bag, eggs were OK, sausages could have had the skin cooked all round not just where it touched the grill, by the time I got to the gammon it was cold, mushrooms were missing and no mention of it, after reading some of the other reviews nothing has improved, so if you're passing and fancy a meal keep going, please note this is my view and review I mean nothing wrong but needs improvement, will see in a couple of months maybe ?.
