V dark, my mum fell flat on her face up a step because it was so dark. I told the ataff and no one came to help, or even ask if she was ok. Shes 86. Food expensive tiny portions. Toilet squashed in between wall and sink in folks' room Lucky my parents are skinny. Bar staff too cool for school. Not enough space in bar for guests. V expensive rooms. 180 for just a smallish room. Hall carpet covered in stains. They've had this feedback but chose to ignore me so tada going public with it.

I have become somewhat of a regular at The Crown recently as I work a few days a week nearby and I absolutely love staying there. The rooms are so lovely, a friendly, quaint and luxurious feel. The hotel has a great location close to lots of lovely restaurants and not too far from Amersham tube/train station for a journey into London. I will keep coming back every week I'm sure. My job starts early in the morning so I have only been able to make the breakfast twice, but it is amazing!! Definitely would recommend. Angelica Richardson.

My wife and I stayed at the Crown Inn Amersham recently. What a brilliant spot. Great service (exceptional actually). A true quaint, olde world Inn in the beautiful old Town Amersham. Staff were outstanding. Upon checking out I left some clothes in the room by mistake. The team contacted us immediately and unfortunately; we were at Heathrow already flying home to Australia. The team at the Crown Inn arranged to package the clothes and have them mailed back to Australia. Received them today! Brilliant service. Thanks much!!!

Corrine (sorry, Iβm not sure if the spelling) and the other staff were so kind and caring when we all came for refreshments after a Thanksgiving service of a dear relative. Corrine was especially good, not ignoring the fact, but saying βsorry for your lossβ, and ensuring that we were well looked after. Thank you to all who contributed- from making the food (and the lovely scones) to clearing away afterwards. Your service and kindness made a big difference.

Visited the Crown Hotel in Amersham recently. The staff were really nice and welcoming, and the vibe outside was lovely β a great spot to sit and relax. The food, however, was a bit of a let-down. I ordered the smashed burger, which was disappointing. It didnβt really qualify as a smash burger, more like a standard burger, and overall the food felt pretty average compared to the setting. A nice place for the atmosphere and service, but the food could definitely be improved.

What a fabulous place to stay! Sure, we've heard some other guests saying how they didn't like the creaky floors or the old feeling, but that's exactly what we enjoyed! Our room was quaint with a lot of charm. Not too big, but that didn't matter. The breakfast was very enjoyable with a menu you can order from. The service polite and made our stay very enjoyable.

One of the best experiences Iβve ever had at a hotel. The rooms were extremely clean, an interesting mix of old and modern, and had one of the most comfortable mattresses Iβve ever slept on. The breakfast was delicious each morning. directly on Amersham High Street there is lots of shopping, restaurants, and pubs. Well done to Andy and the whole team

Very cosy for a Christmas night away with friends. Open fire, several pubs and rest's close by, easy parking etc. The bar closes at 11PM but, sometimes that's a good thing ;)

Plenty of parking when we arrived. We stay in a suite and it was beautiful. Loved the bath tub in the room and a large shower in the bathroom. Had fancy popcorn, small bottle of wine, two jars with mixed nuts and chocolate raisins. I love that. Also had a kettle and water for you too. Huge bed and super comfy. Didn't have dressing gowns. Breakfast set up was nice and had a selection of different options all cooked fresh, plus toast, mini pain au Chocolat, yogurts, cereals etc. Didn't use the restaurant as we already eaten but the food did smell amazing.

A really lovely old Hotel kept in pristine condition. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very comfy beds and the breakfast was AMAZING. I would definitely stay here again.
