Stopped at this pub while on an errand because I needed to use a toilet. Since I had some extra time I ordered some chips with beef and spicy sauce for 4.30. Absolutely delicious and prepared in under 5 minutes. Staff was nice and helpful. Will stop by again if I come over to Burnley again
2 couples called in for a few rounds of drinks. Didn’t eat but the food we saw looked good. Barman could have been happier. Drinks didn’t seem crisp & fresh. Not a lot of atmosphere on our visit & the gents toilets were like a fridge freezer. Definitely the coldest dampest ones I’ve visited
Absolutely lovely clean bar and restaurant, everything was immaculate and the staff were so polite and superb. Quick to serve us and help us to our table and the food was out fast too, drinks were delivered to our table and again were fast at that also. We were definitely impressed with the food and the size of our portions, quality was superb and we left stuffed! Pricing was great, can’t grumble at that fish and chips for £10! Especially when it was so good too. Plenty of parking all the way round the place, free for customers too. Big teles in here to watch sports also, I like that the ‘pub’ side of the place is separated nicely with the glass wall so it’s lovely and quiet in the restaurant side. Atmosphere is lovely, I think the way it’s decorated is very modern and traditional at the same time. Great mix of furniture and artwork.
This is the second time we have been here and the food had been poor, ordered steak and rib combo with mix grill, chips came out cold but waitress was happy to change them, however next lot was just grease inside, both steaks was cooked how we wanted them however over half was just fat even though we paid to have them 8oz, you could knock someone out with the onion rings, safe to say I won't be returning here, there was no check back to see if everything was OK plus took 25mins for food to come out despite it being fairly dead. And finally my partner fount a hair in her chips which at that point we just left.
Had a fantastic time visiting The Prairie, the wait for food wasn't long at all and the food was excellent, they catered very well for my disabled girlfriends needs by bringing drinks over, aside from being heckled by a noisy table whilst playing pool, I thoughroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back again.
The pub was nice and with friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere. I ordered the food and drinks which was easy to do. The starter arrived really quickly which was brilliant! Then we waited over an hour for the food. I was not impressed..
